I remember playing the Ninja Storm games on PS2, and yeah, I definitely think Ultimate Ninja Storm is a total upgrade over those.

I haven't had a chance to play Devastation yet, which sucks because I love everything Platinum does (except Wonderful 101 SO FAR DON'T CRUCIFY ME)

I started Pokemon y but I can't play online bc my sister uses animal crossing browser hacks that won't work if she updates the system software. so I might have to buy a 3ds sooner than anticipated

I'm gonna have to look at the size difference between the regular and the XL. ive only ever used the XL. Nintendo refurb is like $115 tho that's not too bad I just should probably save my money

this has been my Pokemon blog for the day

poetry professor used the phrase unironically and followed it up by calling a poet her spirit animal.

Shockingly, terminology related to triggers existed unironically a long time before the internet made a mess of it.

    Isn't #thetriggering technically a trigger warning?

I'm not at all shocked by this. Warning people of what they're about to read or watch or listen to in order to avoid traumatic responses just sounds decent.

I never seem to have my 3DS on me when I'm browsing through KHV, but now it's sitting in front of me so I can finally say, "Add me."

I'm kinda in the middle when it comes to triggers. I understand how they can be helpful. It helps people avoid subject matter that they'd rather not deal with. But people should realize that the world doesn't come with trigger warnings everywhere. Stuff happens, and you have to deal with it. One of the things about many artistic things is that they tackle hard subject matter and show hoe it can be worked through. It's fine if you try to avoid somethng when you can, but once you're faced with it in real life, you can't pretend it doesn't exist.

I mean, ever since I was a kid, I've been aware over my mortality and how fragile my life is. More than a kid should think about. Death is a major trigger for me. If I see a movie where someone is terminally ill and dying, it will cause me to have some sort of reaction. But it's these stories that have helped me face those problems head on. It's scary, but the real world is scarier.

My roommate just told me that two young girls knocked on the door, said they were on some scavenger hunt for their church, and gave him a pizza as part of it.
A: I don't think that's how scavenger hunts work or is this a religious version of it?
B: WHAT KIND OF CHURCH GOES AROUND DOOR-TO-DOOR GIVING AWAY PIZZA?! That's an organized religion I can get behind. Must be some New Age Catholicism or something. Communion wafer and wine? Nah, communion pizza and soda.

    EDIT: Jesus Crust, guys.
    EDIT^2: Cheesus Crust
EDIT^3: I'm laughing so hard at my joke, guys

Sometimes when people are doing scavenger hunts, they will give things away to the people the encounter, so that they don't seem like a total bother. I've done it before. ^_^

    (P.S. they were great jokes)

But they didn't ask for anything! They literally just told him they were doing a scavenger hunt for their church, gave him the pizza, and left. He apparently didn't question it because of free pizza
