I mean I understand that she's the role of a worried wife that got caught in the middle; but it gets a little off hand. She starts acting victimised, attempting suicide, cheating on Walter, to even acting miserable everyday. Walter did this for his family, yet she still refuses to believe him.

acting victimized? you do realize Walter broke into the house illegally in s3 and emotionally manipulated & abused her throughout? the scene in their bedroom after she tries to drown herself too suggests sexual abuse to me too. there are no angels in brba but I hate when people defend Walt saying he did it for his family (when s5 explicitly contradicts that) and then throw thinly veiled misogyny at skyler

her cheating on Walt too was an awesome storyline. I don't condone cheating obviously but Walt lying to her and his drug business totally deprived her of autonomy & control in her life and the cheating / I ****ed Ted scene is pretty much a desperate attempt to escape Walt and regain control. it was badass

Yes Walt did admit that he cooks meth because he's good at, but that's not really the case in the first three seasons. You forget why Walt even started in the first place. Walt's confessing during the finale was pretty much an explanation why he started cooking during Season 4 and 5. I believed Walter completely changed prior to Gus's death, yes Skyler did notice, but I don't believe she was sexually abused. Well, actually once during season 2, but Walter stopped.

I don't think Walter was manipulating Skyler when he broke into the house, I think he was confused about what's going on and tried to have everything come back to normal.

I don't think Walter's a good person, but I believe some of his actions were justifiable. Some. He wasn't really bad in Season 1-2, he was very ignorant and forced into certain situations. Season 3 he was filled with storm and stress, Season 4 on the otherhand he figured out how the drug world works. He begin to shape into a more darker personality. Season 5, he completely shifts.

you're only allowed to hate skyler if you realize that her being unlikable is by design and that walt's not entirely sympathetic. she's a strong character.

well the whole point and beauty of brba is exploring the gray areas of morality and ethics and I appreciate hearing how people interpret and defend walt's behavior. unfortunately a huge number of fans totally ignore that line in the finale where he says he did it for himself and insist to the bitter end that it was all for his family. and I think it's totally up for debate when Walt totally breaks bad and it becomes about him and not his family. it sounds like you're placing it somewhere in s3? I'm curious if there's a specific point or scene where you get that
personally I disliked Walt for the entirity of the show (appreciate him as a character, hate him as a person as well as the hero worship around him). I agree that in s1 it was about his family and he got in over his head (I mean s1 as a whole majorly deals with the fallout from the pilot, the crazy 8 situation) but I think by early s2 he was gone. it's still interesting beyond that to see him lapse between Walt and Heisenberg but from the start he's been about his pride first, then his family. he could have accepted the money from Gretchen and Elliot but didn't, out of pride. and there's suggestion that he was the same way during the gray matter business

imo he's full evil by the end of s2. but I also follow the Kantian line of ethics which would criticize him from the start
oh man I totally forgot about that kitchen scene in s2
but no in s5 she says "I can't even keep you out of my bed" which could just be a reference to him living in the house against her will but to me it was very suggestive of a lack of sexual consent from her. in s2 he does back off and become docile Walt again but by s5 I think that piece of him is totally gone
she outright told him "I don't want you in the house" and he has no reason to be confused. he knows skyler is catching onto him and, again, is violating her consent
    I agree with this too

I think that Skyler is a strong character, but not very likeable, and not because she antagonises Walter (justifiably). She's almost as bad as him. She's a schemer, tricking the auditor and then blackmailing Ted. She's an accomplice to Walter when she helps to launder his money, and she even suggests killing off Jesse.

I like that Breaking Bad explores ethics and grey morality, but Skyler is less morally grey and more morally bad imo.

Walt giving a damn about his pride probably only started after he became terminally ill though. Not bashing teachers, but even he acknowledged that it was embarrassing that compared to his colleagues, he had a less "important" or respected job.

Granted, Walt being ill was like the entirety of the show, but based on the setting and his reactions to his illness, the pride thing most likely only happened post-illness. Think of it as a way to gain control over one's situation. He is doomed to die, and his life was now on a timer. I'm almost sure he did all those things throughout the show as a way to maintain control over his situation. A mix of a regret of his career and dying can do that.

As for the Walt vs Skyler debate. They are both in the wrong. I'm not going to say Skyler was not a victim, and I'm not going to say Walt was innocent and was only worried about his family. She got involved, chose not to go against Walt when she knew something was up, and had a part in the tragedy that is Breaking Bad. Same thing with Walt. He got cancer, became a person he may not have wanted to be (in his pre "mind break"), and eventually learned that no matter how good at something you are (or how careful) you are never really in control.

To say one party was innocent vs the other is just flat out wrong (imo, I guess. Trying not to be an ass lol). It's also silly to nitpick about who is "good" and who isn't, because almost every character in that show did some messed up shiet. BECAUSE THATS HOW REAL LIFE WORKS. Yay learning.

Well before I get to that, I like one of the things you pointed out. Since the beginning of the series Walter's behavior has slightly shifted into a more agitated state. This started when he arrived from the first time he cooked becoming sexually intimate with Skyler. This began shifting more to him punching the air dryer in the hospital, to getting Walter Jr. Drunk. All these psychological behaviors were short term until one day it changed from an out of the normal behavior, to an alternate personality (Hesienberg).

To answer your question its either when he was serving Walter Jr. Alcohol

I'm so glad I planned the New Year's resolution to upload at least one video with two or more videos the majority of the time every single day on YouTube for one full year of the same number for 2014.

As of December 24, 2015, when it shipped, my new computer isn't expected to arrive until January 6, 2016. We haven't checked it since, though, so that might have changed. My mom's computer was originally expected to arrive on January 28, 2016, but was then changed and pushed forward to December 18, 2015, before being changed again and pushed backward a few fays to December 21, 2015, when it was delivered.

In regard to my projects, I have not recorded anything since December 6, 2015, and I have not uploaded anything since December 7, 2015. I did upload that channel announcement video regarding my computer problems on December 10, 2015, and I count that as an update as seen in my signature, but in general, I'm not counting it since it will be deleted when I resume my projects, so that's why I'm saying I officially haven't uploaded anything since December 7, 2015.

this poe dameron internet love craze seems so manufactured
like, this geek movie's not a geek movie unless a supporting character has a rabid fandom. and since the only supporting character that's just peripheral enough to justify a fandom and doesnt already have a following and who has enough lines for this to appear organic is poe... i guess it's going to be poe...
like **** off that character isnt cool or interesting at all. the first thing that took me out of the movie was his "so who talks first" line
i believe my exact words in the theater when he shot down like 74 tie fighters in a row were "**** you"

So while we were back in Minnesota for the holiday, we went to Pawn America and looked around. They had a 3DS in the clearance case for $30 where they put all the damaged electronics. We asked what was wrong with it and the guy said it was missing the power cord and the parental lock was set. 2 minutes on google told us it was an easy fix. So we got a 3DS for $40 after buying it a cord and had it reset within 2 minutes of getting home.

I am trying very hard to not like Kylo Ren. But he's a complete little **** and I love him.

No I haven't seen The Force Awakens yet but I've seen/read a bunch of spoilers I don't regret.

Also, I'm kind of miffed that Rey has pretty much zero merchandise. I guess she's the Black Widow of Star Wars. BUT SHE'S THE LEAD CHARACTER.

Oh no, the entire trip is 40 minutes. So I was twenty minutes into it when I turned around.
But yeah, normally it's 40 minutes there and 40 minutes back.

She doesn't have enough Merch, but I'm happy with the 6 inch action figure I got of her.

I love stories like these. They make me smile.

I like Poe in the sense that I just connected with his snark. But the fandom is way too crazy.

Also his actor may or may not be stunningly attractive to me.

Regardless of how I feel about the character, it just throws me off that it's the same guy from Ex Machina and the guy playing Apocalypse.
