I'll be in my wheelchair over here remembering the good old days.

Whatever the good old days are.

Spanish 101 and Math 75 finals out of the way. A on the Spanish oral exam, but not sure about math yet. I guess we'll see when I see my overall grade, though next quarter I can go in and pick it up.

If you're sitting in a wheelchair, ...I suppose I should start looking at caskets.

I'm 18, and I know most of these to be true. But I can't help but feel that this is probably the best you get in life. There's just nothing to look forward to but pain and immense struggles ahead.

Well the good news is, you couldn't be any more wrong than you are now. Lol

Life is what you make of it, and yes sometimes things can be really terrible. However, when you hear people talk about "x" year was the best years of my life, that is usually because they are just in a crappy place in the moment. High school ****ing sucked for me (and I can tell you it sucked for the poor people on this site/irl that had to deal with my BS) however now I have my life together for the most part. The struggles really never stop permanently, but you gain wisdom and experience along the way which allows you to be happy despite all that has (and will eventually) happen(ed). Don't think that I am being superior in any way, but most people at the age of 18 can't really tell what life is going to be like. For some it will be worse, and for others it will be better. Assuming that "the glory days" are over and just having an overly negative attitude about the future will for the most part ensure your misery. Try to have an open mind and enjoy each day that you have.

I'd tell you of my pain and struggles but I would just be repeating some of the things I've hinted at earlier (eyyy medical bills) but you should always remember that things CAN get better.

    I think I found it

The worst part of Mirror's Edge:

Armored soldiers with fully automatic weapons and nothing to parkour off of beside some cars; the room.

ooh it always drives me nuts when people say like "those were the best years of my life" or like "yeah this is probably the happiest i'll ever be" like !!!!!!!!!! outlook is everything y'all. if you're not committed to, and believe in, your own happiness, it's not going to happen. be happy where you are, of course, if you can, but tomorrow can be equally awesome if not more. there's a lot of happiness and great stuff out there in the world for you to find

    You got it backwards.

I've been 24 for almost two months and you know what? It isn't working for me. I gave it the ol' college try and it's just not a good fit. Looking for anyone willing to trade ages.
