ONE MORE THING ABOUT THE ME3 ENDING

how is is that Destroy has to target Reapers and all synthetic life, yet Synthesis allows you to alter the genome of the entire ****ing galaxy in a blast of green febreeze? I know EDI and the Geth all have Reaper code in their programming, and that's probably what did it, but it's like...they outright say the Reapers are a mixture of both organic and synthetic life (LIKE SYNTHESIS DOES TO EVERYONE LMAO). how can the crucible not distinguish that big a difference? There's such an offputting element to Synthesis to me as is, but mechanically speaking, as an option in the game it doesn't make sense that one beam can alter every life form in the galaxy, yet the other one can't differentiate friend vs foe.

And like, it's probably just because Bioware didn't want to have an ending where everything ends happy and wanted them all to come at some kind of cost, but the difference between Synthesis' scope of power and Destroy's is ridiculous. and you could probably argue Synthesis is the happiest ending in the game, but they really try and push you in those last few minutes to choose it ( i accidentally chose it and had to reload >: )

Honestly, this is what I wanted to happen:

The Crucible or whatever it's called turns into a gigantic mecha that you pilot as Shepherd and you get different special abilities depending on how good your relationships are with different party members. You proceed to have a giant space battle with the Reaper, tearing into them with lasers and missiles and punches and stuff.

You can call it dumb, or you can realize how much better it is than what crap we got.

sometimes a friend and i go to our friend's house off campus (because i know people now) and i weigh myself when i go and i've lost 5 lbs since saturday. i dont know if thats good or something but i'm proud. i guess surviving off room temp water and lettuce leaves does that. i really really like this friend btw. she's like 4 or 5 years older than me and i feel the same way about her that i would a cousin who is much older than me or something. like i can depend on her. one time when i was there i was getting sick and she got all concerned and gave me medicine. i thought that was so sweet. she's so nice. i love these new people i know. i could go on and on about each of them. i'm happy.

It's occurred to me that some of the youtube videos I've been posting on here and linking to on tumblr just might be blocked in certain countries. And it might require something extra to view said videos that not everyone has.

    Oh well.

I was sitting in psych club at school yesterday and found myself thinking "wow y'know this classmate (who is also in the club) is actually sorta cute" A sophomore asked her how old she was because he thought she looked like a teacher, and I didn't see it because she looked 21ish to me and couldn't possibly be older than that. Then she says "I don't like to talk about my age, but after I graduated from x college I worked for eBay for a few years and now here I am among all you babies" and is probably late 20s - early 30s

moral of the story is now i know that my dating age range is apparently "2 years younger than me - ???? years older"

Acceptable forms of payment are pastries and shiny things.

On a different note: Apple, I just want to update my OS. Is that so much to ask?

Apparently the ending was suppose to be very different than what we got. They changed it because the original apparently got leaked or something.
Apparently the player would learn that the Reapers are only doing what they do to prevent the heat death of the universe the Spiral Nemesis from coming to be dark matter from destroying the universe and the player would be given the choice of allowing the Reapers to continue or destroy them and find a new solution.

It's okay to be a boytoy

But no I mean for real if you're into her you might want to find out exactly how old she is and get to know her a bit better, you're almost 22 so if she's in her late 20s it's not too weird imo

    This would've been beautiful.
PLUS the Citadel had those four arm things, so it's already got the foundation for a body, and with the Crucible you've easily like... Citadel Lagann. plowing through harbinger with a giant drill made out of the wards? sign me the **** up

Oh yeah, I read a bit about that!
I think someone mentioned one of the choices involved sacrificing all of humanity? I'll have to look it up again, but even though it's still kinda eh I think it's more...not powerful or relevant, but closer to home than the synthetic vs organic thing (which I think was pretty neatly resolved already with the Geth/Quarian decision you make in ME3).

Oh I'm not serious about it! haha. It was just a thought and a pretty rare to happen at that for people I don't know that well tbh. initial interest in people really comes and goes for me, so idk when it crops up to stay or is just a 1 second thing (the gray-romantic/gray-ace #struggle). of course i'm definitely interested in bein' buds though, she seems really cool and fun to hang with (apparently she got stuck in Alcatraz one night for like 5 hours and traveled a bunch of places. like damn gurl hmu for backpacking across the world)

right???? I thought the same thing when I dated my last girlfriend (two years older than she was) a couple years ago lmao. It's less weird to think about the closer you are in like...life stages or schooling level.

Over the Garden Wall won the Creative Arts Emmy tonight for Outstanding Animated Program. Against The Simpsons, Bob's Burgers, Archer, and South Park.

    I'm so proud.

Much as I like all of those, I'm really impressed a (partially, at least) non-comedic animated series won something. Was Legend of Korra discussed, or does it not count due to time or lacking an airing on TV with the last two Books?

I know it wasn't nominated, but I don't know anything else; I didn't watch the program.

Shame. Book 3 and 4 of Korra are fantastic. Too many people gave up on that series because of the first half (understandable, but still disappointing)

So my sister just gave birth to her second son. She sent me a text mail today, apparently her water broke while she was buying pastries.
She said we should have seen the look on the employee' s face. xD
