Yet you still can't ride your bike indoors. Because there's a time for that and now is not the time.

This week's comic book "Quote of the Week" belongs to Ant-Man. But first, the runner-up: "Is this really your plan, sheriff? To scare me off my game? --With some horror movie/slaughterhouse kill crew?! Maybe do a bit of research next time. My origin story is scarier than this." -Spider-Woman. (Thank you, Dennis Hopeless for that gem).

    And the winner?
"I was an Avenger once. And the day they made it official --everyone could tell I was freaking out. Like, I was in way over my head. So Captain America, he takes me aside, he puts his hand on my shoulder, looks me straight in the eye and says: 'Scott, I'm sure right about now, you're doubting yourself. Don't. This is a great responsibility, of course. But there's just one rule, above all the others that, you need to keep in mind --One rule that can never be broken, no matter what --and no matter how many times Tony Stark may tell you otherwise. If you want to be an Avenger, you do not sleep with the super villains.'
...I'm so sorry, Captain America." -Ant-Man (Nick Spencer, that was gold.)

The one and only game I really want to play on that console. No wait, there is also that one Zelda game, but the WiiU is such an epic fail they' ll probably release the next Zelda on both the WiiU and its successor. That' s a lot of money for a couple games, and since I don' t expect more of them to be announced at this point ... I think I' ll pass.

Pretty sure my reply didn't post yesterday when i was talking about the wii u. So my apologies if I am beating a dead horse here.

It's all fine and dandy to say that "I don't like the wii u", and statistically speaking it isn't exactly an amazing console in terms of sales or power. However, coming from someone who has more than enough power in his PC (as well as other consoles)... I really don't think the wii u is really that bad. Granted I never owned a Nintendo console before (while it was "current") so maybe I have no right to talk. However the few games I've played on it have been a blast, which is more than I can say about my experiences with my Xbox one or PS4. Now as I said this isn't about power, because I don't care. To compare the wii u to the other current gen consoles is a pointless act to me.

I am sure Nintendo can do much better than they did with this, but later today I'm going to have a ton of fun playing smash after my classes are done. That's a win in my book

I already have a Wii U because I sold my soul to Bayo and Smash, so I know what it's like.

Had to sever ties with one of my rp partners because it was pointed out that there was some rather abusive behavior coming from them in regards to me. And I didn't even notice.

Like, she'd guilt me for playing with other people who played her characters. For the non-rpers who might not get this. Imagine it like this: 'I don't want you hanging out with other guys/girls.' And she at one point told me in a private message: 'I hate it when you play with other people.'

And we had so many threads together yet it took her months to reply to just one. Now this might seem to be me making too much out of something. But I'd see her responding to other people faster? Like within hours of the other person replying. I get people have their favorites and they have more drive for certain threads but she always talked about how she liked our threads. And she told me it took her longer because I intimidated her. Essentially making it my fault and that I should wait when I could be putting my time and muse toward better things.

She complained I didn't respond to asks she sent me. And I say right in my rules/info page that I'm not going to respond to every single ask that comes into my askbox. It's just not really that feasible?

I guess it came to a head the Sunday I left for my vacation. Someone else confronted her on my behalf and said: 'You know [my alias] is kind of hurt and thinks you're pushing them aside.' And then she makes this huge post where she essentially played the victim and didn't acknowledge me/my feelings at all except to make me out to be the bad guy.

I had already started distancing myself before that point and I don't want to be around a person who behaves like this.

Wow that is so cringey, it really sucks when people act like that. Sorry to hear about this.

    I done it.

Ground Zeroes mission, Hard mode, zero kills, zero alerts, all prisoners evacuated.

    And 23 retries.

It seems that every time we have to write a story in school I end up writing a fanfic instead :\
Like I'm pretty sure I wrote a yugioh one in 6th grade.

Sometimes the best thing to do with a toxic relationship is to end it. It wasn't the first time I've had to do something like this actually.

    I'll never understand people.

Interstate 90 between Vantage Bridge and George is closed due to a blowing dust storm. It also doesn't help that the ash from July's fie is still there. It's the same exact area that was closed when we got stuck there for two and a half hours due to the wreck, where it was also closed.

It doesn't need to be closed, though. I can understand the westbound lanes being closed in that area last time because of the wreck, but the eastbound lanes didn't need to be closed.

There are no other easy ways to get across to the other side from whichever way you're coming. If you're coming back from Moses Lake or any city in that direction (westbound) and heading back to Seattle or any city in that direction, for example, and you come up to where the Interstate is closed, they expect you turn around, take the George exit to take the back way to Wenatchee, and come back over Blewett Pass (US 97) instead, adding another hour and 45 minutes to your trip. If you're coming back from Seattle or any city in that direction (eastbound) and heading back to Moses Lake or any city in that direction, for example, and you come up to where the Interstate is closed, they expect you to turn around and take either the Walla Walla exit or the Vantage exit, depending if you're stopped before to after the bridge. Taking the Walla Walla exit, you'd go through Walla Walla, go over White Pass (US 12), go through Yakima, take I-82 until it merges with I-90, get off at Ellensburg not even a minute after merging, go over Blewett Pass, go through Wenatchee, take the back way back toward Ellensburg, and get on I-90 at George and head to Moses Lake, adding another two hours and 45 minutes to your trip. Taking the Vantage exit, you'd get back on I-90 Westbound, get off at Ellensburg, go over Blewett Pass, go through Wenatchee, take the back way back toward Ellensburg, and get back on I-90 Eastbound at George and head to Moses Lake, adding another hour and 45 minutes to your trip.

Basically, they expect you to waste your time, gas, and money (to get more gas). What if you have to be somewhere? And before anyone says, "But blowing dust is a hazard," they never closed the Interstates when we had the huge snowstorm back in February 2014, which is just as dangerous. All drivers need to do is slow down. Put up a message on the various noticeboards telling drivers to be cautious due to whatever adverse weather is going on.

charade is good when it's not trying to be funny or witty. the mystery is fun, though fairly predictable, and there are a few thrilling chase/action type sequences but man is there a lot of obnoxious clever dialogue and painfully unfunny bits.
