4 is weak sauce compared to 5 in all ways except radio stations. That being said they're both weak in that regard compared to Vice City.

But you said this was a discussion, I need to think to discuss

you didn't like IV, right? i'd have to know what you didn't like about it to really tell if you'd enjoy it, BUT i thought it was a lot better than IV. better story, better characters, MUCH better missions, better character customization, more varied and interesting setting, great cars, great radio, fun side stuff to do.

I didn't like Niko or the fake choices that didn't matter or the driving or the bad shooting mechanics or playing the same mission over and over. Basically, everything NOT Lost and Damned.

GTAIV was so bad to me I thought I out grew sandbox games and it took Lego City: Undercover to tell me I didn't.[DOUBLEPOST=1388731930][/DOUBLEPOST]
I thought the first was great. Is this better? Worse? A different beast?

well in V you get Michael, Franklin, and Trevor and they're all great. I'd say the shooting mechanics are better but still not top notch, but still good and bearable. and like i said already, the missions are a lot better and have more variety. the only missions that are similar to each other are some of the heist set up missions but that's because they mostly have you going and grabbing things you'll need. but they're still fun and none are identical.

It's....a little less good? But still good. To me it just had odd pacing.

    Mother Russia's great though.

A different beast. This is one of the best sequels I have ever seen. It continues with what you expect given the ending of the first film and takes the ideas of that film to their logical extension for these characters. It's about entirely different things, though precisely what it should be about. It's great; on par with the first in my opinion.

HMMM. These are pretty different thoughts. So I'll ask the only question matters.

    How's Hitgirl?

I know I'mma sound uber creep but SHE'S HOT OKAY IT'S LEGAL IN JAPAN.

But for real, I felt like her segments of the film but didn't involve actively kicking ass were just...ok. Not bad, but not as enjoyable as all the actual superhero/dramatic stuff.

I'mma just say it man.. Trevor looks mad dumb XD It does sound good though. I'mma pick up when I catch up on 2013's new releases. Still gotta get 3D World, Pikmin 3, and more.

I mean, I understood what the point was of those segments, but they coulda been handled much better in my opinion.

I finished the novella I have been working on for quite some time now. Well, it's just a first draft. Still, it's 60 pages long and just under 20K! So I'm pretty proud of myself.
