No it's not. I just didn't enter down because I was responding on my phone.

That's not really a problem, though. It's that you're using block quote rather than just quote.

I got over it since Rise Against supports PETA.

Nothing gonna stop me from enjoying "Like the Angel" live.

Now Lostprophets...that one's the very difficult one for me...

was gonna edit but i'll just put it here:

it's a show/channel about comics and comic adaptations and the new one just said they've seen/watched next to nothing. what the fuck why is this person here ruining it. annoying is one thing but annoying and underqualified? nuh uh.

about music, i've gotten to a point where tuning out a band's beliefs or practices i don't agree with is sometimes unavoidable and not all that difficult. it's easy to just listen to the music and not look any deeper than that.

except for lostprophets. that was on my list of bands i wanted to try and like more. and then the... news... and now i just don't want anything to do with them including music. it's too appalling to even think about and i would not be able to put it out of my mind while listening.

Well, that person isn't the only person on the show, right? Way I see it, that's a good way to have a fresh perspective. I don't want to talk "qualified" since the person is obviously doing enough to get on the show, so...yeah. My two cents on that.

I usually can avoid the personal stuff of musicians, but the singer of Lostprophets was the straw that broke the camel's back, which just really sucks. I absolutely loved everything pre-Liberation Transmission (and still enjoyed some of the newer stuff) but Start Something is one of my favorite albums ever.

Way I see it, I'm enjoying the music for the work put in by every other member of the band but Ian. They're the ones who disbanded after the news came out, and I'm gonna give their new band (with a different singer) a try.

i get that but the thing is i don't care. they grate on my nerves and after watching this channel for x years because i like learning things from people who are smarter and more well versed than me, i don't now want to watch a show where i apparently know more than someone on it and they have no peripheral knowledge/experience on the characters to add. when i watch these things i'm doing it because the people emphasize an intellectual and literary aspect of what they discuss and this person comes on and has none of that. they've had other guests like this before that and i wouldn't watch those either. and i won't watch channels on similar topics not associated with this one because they usually fall flat on their ****ing face in comparison. i guess what i'm saying is they've set a high bar and i have no patience for anyone who doesn't reach that bar now. i'm perfectly fine with bringing someone onto a discussion video where the thing being discussed is their first exposure to a particular thing, but that's a very different thing where the person for all intents and purposed relating to this channel has experience in nothing, and why the heck should a live show that discusses multiple topics and interacts with the audience about these and other related topics have a person who could ha -- i'm not going to finish typing that sentence because the truth of it is i just don't like this person. it's not reasonable, it's not fair, and i could not care less. they are annoying and i do not like them. i'm kind of fired up about this i know i'm sorry i know but man
but this is just one show out of many

i listened to that one song from that one album by them. that's all i know.

    Well...ok...won't touch that subject.

Give Start Something a listen. I have a feeling you'd like it, at least a little.

Guys I need your help! So for the longest time I've been trying to remember the name of this anime I watched online years ago, but I have no clue. I've tried searching for it, but I don't have enough to go off of. If any of the following details sounds familiar, let me know:
    - it's a mecha-space anime
    - the main character is a girl
    - her family is like entirely made up of women and they are like intergalactic space cops
    - there was some sort of pervy computer that she rescued that went by the name of leopard or panther or something. . .

That's all I can really remember.

if someone were to ask me what's wrong with Fairy Tail, the first thing i would say is that Mashima shoots himself in the foot at the beginning of every arc by dissolving all the tension for the sake of "cool" moments. It's why Tartarus didn't work and it looks like it'll be why this one won't work either. that on top of many other problems (not least of which is that it has the wrong main character), of course. not that it matters this is all horrible junk food and i'll keep consuming it regardless

pre-semester nerves setting in right about now. oooh boy

I used to get nervous about this kind of stuff until I realized that if I want to get where my goals are, I have to get it done, and not only that but getting it done properly. After that it just turned into a grind, which is much easier to tackle imo.

That was not it. And I've recently watched The Girl Who Leapt Through Space, so I know it's not that either. The main character also does not live on Earth. I'm like 80% sure her family home was on a different planet. I think she visits earth, but doesn't live there. It's also probably about 8 years old.
