I wish the animated movies weren't complete garbage now and that they made more than Batman and Batman: Featuring Superman and the Justice League. The Green Lantern and Wonder Woman ones weren't great but they weren't awful and they sold (more than even the Batman movies sell now, ironically).
And how have we gotten through 2013 and 2014 and not gotten a Green Arrow movie? Design the character like Amell's Oliver and it immediately sells better than anything they've done in the last two years. Bruce Timm being back is comforting but Gods and Monsters is really off-putting for me.

give me the Judas Contract movie I was told I was getting. give me another Superman movie that's good. Give me a new gods movie prominently featuring Scott Free. Give me a proper Aquaman movie. Give me a Robin movie, like you said. christ give me anything other than Batman for once. it should not be hard and these things are not selling well enough for them to not take chances.

except it really kind of doesn't. massively successful and generally critically acclaimed blockbusters vs cheapo direct to dvd movies that even the creators don't care about anymore and almost nobody watches. unless you're referring to the Bruce Timm shows of the 90s and 00s. Then yeah. that stuff's ****ing legendary.

Kill la Kill falls into the category of things I admit is good and did enjoy aspects of while watching, but is really not my cup of tea and therefore don't like all that much. it's right there next to ttgl

I made an extra save in ME2 to romance Garrus for the trophy (because I am committed to YEOMAN CHAMBERS and liara i guess), and had to start the final mission to do it. Oh...my god. my god. that was so stressful and i didn't even finish.

Finishing it tomorrow is gonna be an experience, and then the Shadow Broker DLC and FINALLY MASS EFFECT 3.

Because they probably didn't just cease to exist after Amon's rather ambiguous death. Did they disband? Are there still Equalists but they're dealing with a void in leadership? Did they form a democracy where they take a vote on things?

Because damnit, Amon had a point that I want addressed. Several points really.

Point 1: Benders are dangerous. Proven countless times by the Avatar and co. Not just by the Triple Threat Triads and similar less than friendly benders. [ And did Korra give them their bending back? Did she give Tahno his bending back? ]

Point 2: Non-Benders feel oppressed by their Bending peers. It's kind of like in the X-men 'verse where people fear mutants for what they can do. 'My neighbor can burn my house down!' vrs. 'There's a girl who can phase through walls. What's to stop her from robbing a bank?' And it's usually based on the actions of a few. [ The Triads and the Brotherhood of Evil Mutants ] Amon's fake backstory is meant to illustrate this. [ And man, just think about if he hadn't been faking it the whole time. Fire benders oppressed his family and burned his face when he stood up to him. We see Mako threaten to do this same thing to one of the Equalists btw. ]

These are things I want addressed. If they're addressed in the other 4 seasons I haven't watched, then that's amazing. If not, I want to know they're addressed somehow in the comics.

I loved Amon. Is it obvious?

ALL OF THIS. It felt like such a cop-out for Amon to be a Waterbender. The closest the show ever came to addressing the points the Equalists had was dissolving Republic City's all-bender council between seasons and replacing it with a presidency (incidentally, the president is a non-bender).

Oh, okay. Dissovling the council sounds vaguely familiar but I didn't know about the non-bending President.

AND IT WAS A HUGE COPOUT. He went from 'holycrapterrifying' to 'lol k waterbender i got this'. I remember being so beyond mad with the big reveal. I think I would have been okay with the reveal if he had been Yakone's non-bending son who Yakone pretty much disowned. He somehow learns the art of taking away bending(maybe Koh or some other spirit teaches him) forms the Equalists. And so on and so forth.

I don't know. Amon is just one of those characters that I will fight to the death for.

um.. no? I don't think so? Where did you get that information?

apparently it will be a seasonal thing with 4 chapters a year. sucks but it's more than we had been getting for quite a while. btw i don't know how correct any of this is, it's just stuff i saw in forums without any official translation of leaks.

Oops, I guess I'm thinking of another series' author...I just can't figure out which one it was...or if there was one who died before finishing a series.

I think I was also partly caught up by how long the hiatus has been.

Yeah, I looked up some authors who did die before finishing their series, and I'm thinking I mixed it up. Embarrassing since I told my girlfriend that the author died >.>

She has read ("I think") 21 volumes, but says the anime "weirds her out" because of the difference in visuals.

I've not really started on it to be honest. Saw bits of the first episode, but I gotta give it a focused watch.

I remember watching the show in 2009 and enjoying it much less than the manga. Though once the manga switched over to monthly it became very bizarre and somewhat incoherent and just straight up indecipherable in places.

I don't remember the anime looking that different. iirc there were some pretty big quality variances but stylistically it seemed pretty faithful to the source. been a while though
