Watched an episode of Danmachi.

Nothing special so far. The characters are pretty generic save their visual designs. I'm really annoyed that two of them have romantic goals already.

Just picked up my 3DS for the first time in weeks (not counting trying out the PMD: Gates to Infinity demo earlier this week) and realized I'm still bitter about not getting a New Nintendo 3DS.

well, let's see how crappy my New Leaf town is doing.

 

Did you just want it for the heck of it? I don't really see the need to upgrade (and this is coming from the guy who uh.....isn't that strict when it comes to buying new tech).

 

It's hard to get new 3DS games personally when Nintendo almost never discounts their (good) games to $20.

Meanwhile, my better-than-console PC constantly gets getting stellar discounts and free games.

 

I don't have an XL and have been wanting one. I figured getting a New one would have been better than just getting a regular XL.
So I waited. It was mostly for the tech upgrade, to be honest, but I really wanted to trade in. Unfortunately, it was going to come out during a weekend where I wouldn't have been in town and I didn't preorder it (last time I tried a preorder with Gamestop, I had to move it from one store to the other and the experience turned me off. It was more hassle than it should have been when all that was needed was one phone call. Instead, I had to involve a third store because of a manager being....well, just stupid). Since I was going to be in a small town that just recently got its first Gamestop, I didn't think it would sell out as quickly as it did. Well...it did. Like in every Gamestop in this section of the state (I wanted their specific trade-in deal). Of course, no one could tell me when they would get a new shipment in, but they extended the deal a couple of more days (even though no one was sure if they would get a shipment in during the extension?).
So I just forgot about it.
I'm planning on beating Bravely Default, replaying through Pokemon Y and A Link Between Worlds, and then I'll get a New one.

 

If you don't have an XL, then I would totally get it.

 

Blighttown takes roughly 3 minutes to beat if you're not stupid.
