Can't see how you could think that, but eh, to each their own.
I started this episode on the couch with my laptop to tweet about it and photoshop something
When the episode ended, I realized I was sitting on the floor, clutching my cat.
    It was so...emotional for me

that finale was... disappointing. started out great but went downhill. has the best scene of the series, though. the scene with Barry and his dad in the jail was outstanding.

but yeah i'm done with Arrow and Flash
I don't feel the need to keep making excuses for them anymore
Arrow became complete garbage this season, and while Flash never became wholly bad, it has the same writing style and cw-ism tropes that ruined Arrow. The writers on this show are dealing with pretty complex and delicate themes and ideas, but they don't seem like they realize it and don't seem equipped to develop those ideas as intellectually as is required. It all devolves into love triangles and secrets and all kind of contrived bs drama. Season 1 and the first half of season 2 Arrow did't have that. It boldly defied so much of what it's become now. I've seen people call it parody and I can't disagree. Flash never had that. It's always had the caveat of, "it's good, but."
Basically all these shows are really good for is the nods to continuity and comicbook fan service and cliffhangers. There's much better stuff out there I could be reading/watching that's actually good instead of trying to trick me into thinking its good. Like there's this early issue of Ultimate Spider-Man where Peter and Mary Jane spend the whole issue just talking through him opening up about his being spider-man. Yet these shows and so much else use that same issue but instead of approaching it thoughtfully, use it as the source for most of their drama.
I get that these shows have their charm in places and can be fun to watch, but I'm just kind of over it. seeing comicbook stuff realized on screen is cool and all, but when that's all your show is good for... well i'll just go read the source material instead.

I find it incredibly, painfully, cheesy, with some God awful dialogue and awkward fight scenes. All of the good guys are annoying to me.

Granted, what bits I did see were I think from the first season, so they might very well have improved but...I wasn't gonna stick around to find out.

While I care about Mathew Murdock outside of being Daredevil because he's a damn enjoyable lawyer and person to watch interact with people, I don't care about either Flash when he's out of costume...not that I really care either when he is.

What I've seen of Arrow (bits of the first two seasons) was ok, but not enough to draw me in.

I think I made a note to start watching Arrow at some point because Colton Haynes is in it as Arsenal. Kind of glad I never got around to watching it. CW shows are...I don't even know. I started watching Reign because of Regbo and costume porn. Ended up kind of triggered by an episode with rape as a plot device that just...wasn't necessary and haven't gone back since. I keep reading about love triangles and unnecessary romance* drama plots. About the only reason to keep up with the cast members on social media is how much shade they throw on the show.

*I find romance is good in small doses. If that's the majority of the plots on your show, I'm going to find it a complete yawn fest.

Started watching Teen Wolf because I needed something to watch. Like I wanted something to follow on a weekly basis. Then it turned into 'Oh these people are nice to look at'.

And then Ian Bohen and JR Bourne happened. I was doomed.

There is romance in Teen Wolf but it's not the complete focus on the show.

After you get to Miles Morales, read Spider-Men. I mean, ****ing Christ. Having Peter616 see everyone that he knows...well, you'll see.
Also, when you get to Death of Spider-Man. There's a motion comic adaptation on youtube. It's not GREAT, but it is pretty good for a fan-made one.
Some of the voices just suck, but a good number of them are really good, especially Peter's.

you know that feeling where you're too emotionally invested?

I can't wait. this is incredible.

I teared up when I read the plot synopsis for Death of Spider-Man before actually buying the series.
I remember my girlfriend came in and saw me just staring at my computer, shaking and asked what was wrong and I could barely speak lol
Then I bought it and actually read it and omg, it's not even funny, especially after reading Ultimate Fallout immediately afterward.
The fan-made motion comic, on the other hand, adds a little thing at the end and it actually did break me to watch.
