Eyyyyy Florida is pretty cool.

 

I recently watched it again and while it's nothing to write home about (in my opinion) and Quicksilver's really only Quicksilver by name (which I dislike), it's worth the watch. It focuses more on Charles, Raven, and Erik than Wolverine, really.

 

So the heroes are here?

 

Oh, okay. I think if it focuses on those three then it's tolerable. Still kind of need to also watch First Class sometime. I have it but I look at it and remember what a downward spiral the main X-men trilogy was. The first one was good, the second one was tolerable, the third one was just... 'is it over yet?'.

And I can't help it if Avengers!Pietro is nice to look at.

 

Is that bad or good?

 

It's a perfect mixture of what made First Class and the good X1/2 work. I don't like X-Men, but DOFP is pretty wonderful.

 

Days of Future Past was to me the second best X-Men film. X2 still wins for me.

 

I liked Days of Future Past as the movie it was in the series it belongs to.
I didn't like it as an X-Men movie or a Days of Future Past.
And I had my issues with the story and the writing and definitely some of the decisions made for the movie, but I'll still admit that it was a great movie.
Quicksilver was mad overhyped, though. I mean, yeah that scene was pretty cool but it didn't match the hype in my opinion. I think his first scene was a little better.

On a similar note, rewatching Punisher now and I still don't think it was that bad? I loved Thomas Jane as Punisher and think he should keep doing it.
Plus, I mean, he did the Dirty Laundry fan film.

 

My favorite moments of First Class and Days of Future Past are seeing younger Charles and Erik. They have such a dynamic friendship/rivalry onscreen to me.

 

Thomas Jane's face just...inspires me.
I look at it and I get this tingly feeling in my chest.

Oh yeah, definitely and then seeing how they act in the future together is such a great comparison.
Also, come on, Mystique. COME ON. Your best friend who's psychic, your....whatever Erik was to you who is your psychic best friend's mortal enemy, and a guy from the future all tell you to not do something.
