as wonderful as daredevil is, the one thing i'm consistently not feeling so far is Foggy. something about the way the actor portrays him feels kinda scumbagy, which is not what i associate the character with, and i don't buy his lawyer jargon like i do Charlie Cox's. hopefully he gets better.

I agree; while I don't necessarily dislike Foggy, he's one of the few I'm yet to be sold on. Charlie does such a damn good job at Matt though.

Regrettably, I haven't finished. I'm really bad when it comes to finishing watching series; I'm at like episode 4. Not because I get bored or anything, but I always fancy my time playing something...

I liked the Foggy character, but not with the name Foggy.
Fun fact that I read in an interview: a few years ago, Jeph Loeb gets a a call around 11 from Joe Quesada, who was across the country -so around 2am for him- saying that he found Matt Murdock. He met Charlie Cox and wanted him to play Matt on the small screen.. Jeph pretty much said "First, we have to get the rights back. Then we have to see if the film division will let the television division use him. Then we have to get a story and propose it. Then, if any network picks it up, if you're buddy Charlie is still acting, then yeah, he can play Matt Murdock." Apparently now, when Quesada says that he found someone, Jeph just automatically agrees "to save time."

 

I don't wear dresses that much anymore. I'd kind of like to but my job involves manual labor and getting dirty. Getting into charcoal season around here lol.

Bullshit there's a drought emergency! They need to remember that we had the same problem in 2005 due to a lack of snow from winter 2004 - 2005 and we made it through just fine. In addition, we got pretty good rainfall Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, and wet weather is supposed to return the week after next--next week we're supposed to be getting into the 80s here.

 

Man this is a depressing year.

You know, there are people whose job it is to monitor and record this kind of stuff, and if they're saying it's a drought emergency, it's probably a fucking drought emergency.

 

tonight has turned into staying awake all night and powering through daredevil because its so dang gripping i can't stop

it feels wrong that my favorite scenes in the show are the ones with matt and foggy at college
