So, my Niece might have tonsillitis. Since she's informed us that sometimes when she spits(like when she's brushing her teeth) that there's blood in the sink. My first thought is that she might have a loose tooth or something. So Mommy looks in her mouth and her tonsils are bleeding. She's going to go in for a throat culture and a quick test this afternoon after school.

I hope it's nothing serious and she's just sick with some virus that she'll get better.

It's funny because most of the crew that this blogger hangs out with on tumblr is known for nitpicking rwby and the fans to death.

There was this Spanish series on tv when I was a teen, a series about dance students. In the first episode one of the teachers was waiting for his students nude as a worm. He told them that their body was now their professional tool and that this *points down* was a part of it. He was warning them they' d be expected to let go of their shame at some point.

 

Cartoon Network struck a deal with Hulu and now a ton of their shows are on it and have been pulled from Netflix. It's good news for me because I already subscribe to Hulu and it bugged me that Netflix only had two seasons of Adventure Time, but I get why a lot of people are bummed.

Should I watch season 2?

 

As a story it was more interesting, but most of the issues people had with season 1 are still there. If you enjoyed season 1 enough to get through it all, give the first few episodes of season 2 a go. First episode is great.

 

final grades for the semester were just posted. everything's fine and i'll be able to transfer no problem. so dang excited. this is like the biggest weight off of my shoulders. but this always happens. i always freak myself out thinking all hope is gone but i do better than i thought and things turn out okay.

just finished Daredevil Yellow and Man Without Fear. next is first trade of Bendis' run. then maybe i'll start the netflix show.

 

It's been raining since yesterday and Intro to Computers was canceled due to the instructor having a sick child.

I feel kind of the same way and I've gotten into the MCU pretty heavily as of late lmao. Overall, I like it. It was a movie. The action was great and there were some character moments I liked, but I also really...feel really negative on it? I think it's just because I don't like Whedon's style of writing, and I'm really put off by the Banner/Widow romance and how Nat's backstory was framed within that. There's also some implications about imperialism and, even more in your face, with heteronormativity that altogether thinking about just make me feel bitter about it, though this is just the angle of critique I'm approaching it from.

plus i'm also just tired of his tony stark boner :v

I think you'd probably like the more character driven movies -- Iron Man 3 did pretty well with Tony & PTSD, and Captain America the Winter Soldier is just, so good. SO GOOD. I love Cap 2.

 

I'm normally the nitpicky type but even you guys are seeing shit I'm not.

 

So I've read some stuff about Ultron. Some very spoil-worthy stuff. So...

Waiting until it's on DVD actually might be a good idea -- I'm hearing there's a lot of deleted footage that will be available on the DVD that will seriously help the plot. They made some weird decisions when editing down the film that can seriously affect coherency in the film.

 

It's more of that I can never seem to get to the theatre to see the movies anymore. I'm always busy with work or babysitting or other adult responsibilities. And dvds come out so quickly now that it really doesn't bother me to not see it in a theatre. I don't contribute to ticket sales but I'm more than willing to buy the video.

Besides, I'd rather watch at home where I have access to my heating pads.
