That specific column is one of the reasons I frequent that site and probably the only reason that actually got me to post on their forum (though not his Black Widow article; his thoughts on Iceman being revealed as gay)

i've tried to use cbr for news and stuff but can't get used to it. i still use comicvine which i dont like all that much for news either

 

For some reason, I have a hard time actually going to the site and then using it. Instead, I'll see their updates on Facebook and Twitter, click the article, and then maybe browse around. Except for their Comic Reels, Axel-in-Charge (I love that Marvel's Editor-in-Chief has a weekly interview!), and In Your Face Jams; for those, I'll actually go to the site.

 

That makes sense. Their pages are kind of cluttered and feel somewhat unintuitive to navigate for me, so just going in to check for news and getting out feels difficult since I don't know what I'm looking at.

I think that whole section was really well-thought out. Simply because it's a female character, they're not allowed to go through the same hardships as men without being seen as "OH, IT'S ONLY BECAUSE SHE'S A WOMAN" kind of thing.

Though I prefer Bruce being sterile over Old Man Logan's version where he had gamma-irradiated, incest children with She-Hulk because she was the only one who, and I'm paraphrasing here, could handle his Hulkdick

looking 4 anime recs to add to my summer marathon list

specific stuff I'm looking for:

dark, psychological, action relatively recent (2010+)
im really into game based stuff (Death Parade, Mirai Nikki, No Game No Life, etc.), basically psychological games where people are pitted against each other.

stuff i've watched recently and liked: Death Parade, Tokyo Ghoul (and √A), Zankyou no Terror.

and yeah I tend to give things high ratings, (altho I dont remember GC being that bad)

 

I dropped it because it just felt so...safe, I guess is the word. Like the animation was amazing and I liked the music, but it did nothing especially strong for me. It didn't differentiate itself from other anime of that kind of storyline.

 

I sometimes don't regret eating half a box of pizza. This is one of those times.
