i'm only glad i got the application fees waived because otherwise this whole process would have run me several hundred dollars

the ap scores are totally a business but transcripts have all been from/to state schools. which, the american gov't & education system is run like a business so i'm not surprised but still. **** man

ignore me, thinkin' about music

you know, i foray into electronic & related quite often and i do love it but i always always always find myself returning to indie music. it is my home, where i feel most comfortable and most me. and, i realize that 'indie' is a remarkably broad term that today means very little of anything -- especially when my application of it covers simple, classic indiepop to to rock to punk to some electronic stuff, too. but it's a feeling, an atmosphere, a community, a sort of indescribable force that we try to capture under 'indie'

and i suppose it's nice to finally define that.

 

Somebody makes money off of you. Especially with something that in this case "needs to be done". That's good business.

when i'm sitting in a theater watching the commercials before the commercials waiting to see avengers and a commerical with a couple 9 yo boys playing with avengers rp gear super seriously comes on, its hard to not have a 'what the **** am i doing' moment

but then that commercial ends and im back to perfect contentment.

but yeah im finally seeing this.
