It saddens me to see the burnout of good superhero movies, even if I understand why: they've become normal, expected.

Personally, I can still remember the feeling of being wowed by how good films like The Dark Knight and Iron Man were when they came out and seeing the HUGE positive reception. Of course, there were good superhero films beforehand, but it was a while before they drew such huge crowds.

Anyway, I'm still hyped for Age of Ultron. I love seeing the dynamic of the Avengers members with each other. Hell, I even shaved today inspired by Tony Stark.

Opinions are always welcome, its always interesting to see why someone does or doesn't like something. It beats the typical "WOW THIS WAS PERFECT", because you don't really get much out of that at all.

At least Superhero movies are better now than they were in the '90's and early 2000's.

Speaking of which, the original Spider-Man trilogy has not aged well, the rebooted franchise was kinda meh but could of been much better had Sony not made the same mistake they made with Spider-Man 3 with Amazing Spider-Man 2.

I have no qualms about waiting until Ultron comes out on dvd to see it. I just like seeing the different characters on the packaging at work. Like Captain America on a box of Krave cereal( I think Hulk and Thor are on Corn Flakes). I don't mind missing out on the cinema experience.

Kind of not too sure about the whole Natasha x Banner thing that's happening though. I mean, she was pretty freaked out by the Hulk in the first Avengers movie. I mean it can work but there's going to be some issues there.

Also getting a little...tired of the lack of female characters in the MCU and the lack of merchandise for said characters. And of Joss Whedon's outlook and perspective on certain aspects of the MCU that just...uggggh.

Long story short, Whedon said that Coulson being alive 'cheapens the message' of the first Avengers movie. And that to him, Agents of S.H.E.I.L.D has no connections to The Avengers even if Marvel says everything is connected. It does not cheapen the message because The Avengers believed Coulson was dead and thus they learned to be a team. But Joss is just being a huge 'ew don't touch my canon' fanboy and I am getting so tired of it.

I dunno, I think Spider-Man 2 is a great Spider-Man movie and will be the best until Marvel Studios gets to work.

It's the one that aged the best, which really isn't saying much.

Yo, does anyone know the name of the song that plays during Riku and Quasimodo's conversation inside of Notre Dame in 3D?

Dude, I like Spider-man 2 as well. It's the best in that trilogy after all.

I don't know if "cheapens the message" is the appropriate phrase to use, but it definitely cheapens the drama in the scene when returning to the film. But that's standard superhero comicbook stuff. kill a guy. bring him back immediately. though Shield's a pretty bad show and not hard to ignore so it's not a huge injustice

Agreed. Though sometimes in comics not every character killed off comes back to life, just throwing it out there.

I liked Age of Ultron more than the first Avengers movie. A lot more ambitious and weird, with a lot more substantial dialogue. Won't try saying it's actually deep, but it does display some of the characters' qualities better than ever.

Oh my God the Hulik vs. Hulkbuster fight....

Oh, as for cons: lots of "wait what are you doing please communicate with your team" and "oh this is gonna be a deep scene because there's no music right now." And, as per usual for a superhero film, being mostly predictable in what events are going to unfold, but those aren't enough to make it not a damn good film for me.

People have been starved from the joy of stuff similar to Banjo-Kazooie for decades, Captain.

It's what happens when humans have a cause to band together.
