Everyone is all taking finals and I'm just sitting here not even worrying BC my teachers cancelled finals since everyone in the classes was doing so good.

Got our first writing project back in English 101 today... I got a D. We can revise them, and I'm going to go for at least C, though I'll do the best I can, of course, since we need a C average across all our classes to pass, but ugh... I really thought it was good, especially after I revised my rough draft twice, but I guess not.

Should be noted that... writing projects are worth 80% of our grade -- daily work and attendance is only worth 20%...

 

im thinking about not seeing Ultron till Tuesday. I don't want to see that with finals still hanging over my head

it was a marvel movie. i didn't like it but i don't really like marvel movies so

 

I was going to say how could you not like it because marvel movies are awesome, but then I remembered that I'm easily entertained and also it's how you feel not me so yea....

Wait....really? Any particular reason why?

 

im at burnout at this point. just kinda tired of them. im not sure if over saturation of the films or fans, or lack of variety is the reason. this is why i dont mind seeing ultron a few days late. it feels like more of a formality than an anticipated experience for me. im also getting tired of superheroes in general. my tastes have been shifting a lot these past few months. which is not to say that there arent still characters that i like and follow. its also a little depressing to see how popular these characters have become recently but not see any mention of the ideas and themes that make them intereting characters. whatever.

 

I'm just not interested in them, I think the only recent ones I've seen are both Avengers and Guardians of the Galaxy and I've had absolutely no urge to change that. I've tried reading superhero comics and don't find them very entertaining. So I acknowledge that this movie just wasn't for me.

I could go into what particularly I didn't like about Ultron if someone wanted to hear it but my opinion probably doesn't matter for much in light of what I've just said.

 

id like to know after ive seen it. no spoilers for this guy.

 

I just wanna see Hawkeye as Hawkeye since he wasn't really himself in the last one. He's one of my favorites
