Once i hit like the 10th grade way back when, our school got 5-6 bomb threats a year (at least). Many many times we had to just walk (as an entire school) all the way down to the middle school, which was on the opposite end of the school district. It got so repetitive that it was more relaxed than a fire drill, which is reallllllly sad.

 

I guess I just grew cynical from all my frustrated attempts at doing this + What I heard what's going on the other side of the game industry.

But this is what I needed to be reminded of.

I guess my biggest problem would be the fact I don't have resources like... At all. I tried contacting people to work with me and they were all like "Nah son pay me first and then we'll see if I make assets for your game". I am not a game company, I am not even funds, I was willing to offer my profits from the game as an exchange, but I guess people need to feed mouths ASAP.

I just... Want to really do this, but I lack the knowledge, nor I want to learn it all (It would be a nightmare to learn programming + 2D art + 3D art + etc), I am just a creaive head and music compositor, and then if I lack the knowledge, I lack the resources, and I keep going back in circles.

Also, thanks for the replies everyone, this project FYI is pretty much making itself in my head but I should start making some form of detailed thing.

Idk, something about a fight on Monday.

 

This is actually the reason why I just bought 60 dollars worth of office equipment. Paper, posterboards, notebooks, pens, etc. I'm missing a power cable for my old printer which I'm going to try to find tomorrow, but I decided that I need to get all of these thoughts down somewhere and since it's really scattered in my brain, I'm going to write them down and go through everything later to connect it to what would hopefully be a comic book (or more likely, e-book) later on.

 

my notebooks are filled with ideas for comics/whatever that would suddenly come to me in the middle of class. gotta write that stuff down

 

I didn' t write. I drew. A lot. A good chunk of my school notes was buried under the silly stuff.

 

I wrote all the time in school. Just jotted down notes in the margins of things that weren't at all related to what my other notes were. Spur of the moment thoughts. But I never actually wrote in my school notebooks. I had fancy ones for that.

One of my pet peeves in school was people snatching my notebooks to read what I was writing. And I hated this because I'd often be in the middle of a sentence and my groove would be thrown off. Yes, they threw off my writing groove. I'm still a little self-conscious of people asking to read my reading.

A lot of my stuff is on a computer these days but I still love the feeling of writing with ink on paper. And then turning the pages.

 

They didn' t snatch, but yeah people noticed eventually. Not sure it made me a weirdo or not but they laughed, so yay. I even caricatured one of my teachers once. Directly on the table. The whole table. I did it in crayon, didn' t want them to go through hell to erase it. The girl who took my place the following hour called it out immediately. I guess my teacher took it well because she didn' t insist much to try and get me to admit, in vain, and she was smiling the whole time.

the blue haired guy is super cool but all i'm saying is there seems to be some major favoritism for Xyz related things
this is like the most petty thing ever and not a legitimate complaint, but considering this comes right after Zexal and is far removed from 5D's, I'd like a little more Sycnrho action and less Xyz which I just got for 146 episodes. that and a couple other complaints aside, it's really good.

 

I'm only two episodes in, but Daredevil is topping Winter Soldier and Guardians of the Galaxy for me so far. I thought it impossible to do that.

 

I've not yet watched Daredevil. I refuse to watch it until I've read more Daredevil and familiarized myself with him more, because he's a character I'm constantly hearing about from people I know and one I've been interested in exploring for a long time. I'm reading/watching other stuff right now so it will be a while probably.
