No I haven't seen the new Red vs Blue. xDx

I feel that pressure... But dang man, you got a 4.0 GPA? I got a 3.6 and just got invited to this Honor Society thing at my college. The thing is, I've been studying in my field the whole time, Child Development. No core classes. I feel like as soon as I sign up for that science and math class I need, nrrrrrrrrrrrrrrooom. There goes my 3.6 GPA, and a boot to the head out of Honor's Society.

Everyone's all like "Oh Maka, those Child Development classes are hard! Give yourself credit!" Nooooo, they're really not. I just did a bunch of arts and crafts and studied my text books. "But that's cause you enjoy it so much Maka! That's why it's easy!" @~@

Yeah, I considered getting a few of them. Maybe a Link so I could customize it into a Dark Link.

Okay people, if you're going to a con with a cast panel. If cast member H happens to be in attendance, ask them questions pertaining to cast member H. Not cast member D.

Because it's fecking ridiculous to have to ask other cast members about what cast member H is doing when cast member H is in attendance at the con.

It's common courtesy and I would be downright pissed of it by now.

If you can guess the fandom and the cast members, then good job.

If said people hosting a panel at said con keep a lot of things form their viewers, it is more than understandable for them to ask said questions. I'm not agreeing with it, but I mean if they are surprised that it happens, then i don't know what to say.

this is all of course assuming that I am guessing who you are talking about correctly, which I very well might not be

I'm just going to say it outright rather than being vague about it.

Tyler Hoechlin, mostly known for Teen Wolf, constantly gets asked about Dylan O'Brien at his panels. And Hoechlin is too nice to say anything about it. Or he's afraid of the backlash he'll get if he does say anything. And yeah, it's happened before. Which is why he's talked about 'the elevator incident' about a thousand times. What he feels about The Maze Runner. How he feels about a certain well known pairing in the Teen Wolf fandom that makes people uncomfortable because it caused a lot of drama.

Basically, it's a panel for Dylan O'Brien and not Tyler Hoechlin but Hoechlin's holding the mic. And it's gotten to the point where fans have to ask other Teen Wolf cast members about Tyler Hoechlin.

I like Dylan O'Brien. He's a great actor and he's getting a good career for himself while not forgetting his roots. But jfc the fandom really needs to back off him a little bit so he doesn't overshadow the rest of the cast. Because what his fans are doing with Hoechlin's panels is inexcusably rude in that they're completely ignoring Hoechlin's achievements.

Yeah, Jeff Davis is really vague about information to the point where he doesn't inform his own actors before they get their scripts about what is going on. But there's really no excuse for this kind of behavior. And I'm not really surprised at this point, just kind of disgusted.

Man I feel better for getting that out.

    why does a fandom matter
especially when its full of a bunch of horrid ****ing people
i dont keep track of the "fandoms" of things i enjoy because I'm fairy certain most of them are less than intelligent (how Arrow gets consistently good ratings)

Yeah, i know. At this point, I try not to let the things fandom does get to me. The only time I really care is when the more vocal elements reach my dash or they do something really stupid. Like that whole blackout thing they wanted to do because a few of the cast members didn't agree with their views on shipping/fanfic.

Luckily, I've found a few sane members to discuss and rp with.

    one form =/= entire fandom
plus im not upset with the fandom and don't let it inform my relationship with kh, i.e. it doesn't matter [DOUBLEPOST=1425868629][/DOUBLEPOST]
I'm not active on major social media sites like that (unless you count yt I gues but w/e) so I'm not in-tune to fandoms and all that stuff and therefore can't relate to what you're describing. With that said, having a few people you can talk with in a smaller community is always nice. I'm a... member?.. of this relatively small yt community of channels that talk about geeky stuff and the like. It's nice because it's not that big and the majority of people there are all prone to critical, intelligent discussion instead of the rabid fanaticism you see on places like tumblr and twitter. I've never thought that the whole, "the fandom ruined it for me" thing was entirely rational, but there is some truth to it. You just gotta know when to separate yourself from that junk. gundam

Alright so it turns out I have a week off from school (which according to my sister wasn't supposed to happen, I take my classes online atm and in my school they usually don't get a "spring break") so I am so pumped to do literally nothing.

On the off chance I do decide to do something, does anyone have any suggestions on what I should do?

Alright so instead of doing nothing, I got bored and decided to test myself. You see recently I have been kicking my ashe into shape by working out and eating right. As most people in this situation there is a love-hate relationship with cardio.

That is (for those who don't understand that pic):

    8 miles / 12.8 kilometers
1 hour and 49 minutes (is how long it took)
    1007 calories burnt

I was going for endurance not speed, so pardon the slow mile times

    So it's 71 degrees.

Hahahahaha! We're two degrees warmer than Los Angeles! That's a first! Take that, @libregkd!

I've caught them all. what now

    pre gen-vi grinding sucks
say what you will about each generation's story, characters, setting, lore, etc, but the mechanics and overall quality of the games have only improved with each generation, and going back is p. much pointless unless it's for the region itself.

I really need to start running again. I hit a bit of a milestone the last time I went and got my best mile time (something like 7.5 minutes). It's not very impressive but seeing as, when I started, I was doing 11 minute miles, it was a big achievement for me. Then it got cold out and I stopped (I took a spin class in the meantime but that ended in December). The past two days have jumped into the 50 range here, though, so if that keeps up I'm hoping to head out again.

Is that a treadmill or something else? I've thought about investing in one but I don't really have the space for it. :L Not keen on joining a gym.

Elliptical actually, when I got into my car accident in my Junior year it REALLLLY messed up my knees and hip, so anything that is low impact is ideal. It used to be incredibly painful to do more than a mile, but like I've said I have been kicking my own ass for over a month and I have managed to make my joints recover quite a bit (from what it seems anyway).

Back in highschool pre accident my fastest mile was like 6:30-6:45. But I don't really care about speed anymore, all I really care about is getting to a healthier body fat%, and in this case improving my cardio training in any way I can. I don't know, it is like a high score to me.
