i have to take a class this summer because between four meetings my adviser never thought to tell me "yo btw at this rate you won't finish in time"
gdi what is even the point of them -- i never know anything and if i need to know something they are never the people to ask
i asked so many questions and only got non-answers

The people who have been going to advisers for several semesters never finish in less than three years for a two year degree. I finished in 2.5 years so part of it is just that it's hard when you don't take summer or winter classes but you're right, they give no heads up. Wouldn't surprise me at all if it was intentional.

I also lost a scholarship because of an adviser.

I'd like to give them the benefit of the doubt and assume/hope the advisers are not that conniving but I can kinda see that.
What's dumb is that I'm only one class short. Nowhere in the school's orientation or meeting or anywhere did anyone say that we would need to take 6 3-credit classes one semester in order to finish on time. It's not like I failed a class and didn't get the credit. And now it's making the transfer process more difficult.

    oh man, that's rough.

    persona q is oddly addicting
i never thought i'd be so invested in drawing a map
    makes me question my tastes

Oh yeah, if you're not maxing out at least one semester here you'll never finish in time. At least one, and that's on top of taking a winter class or two. Most of the people I've spoken to graduate after their fifth semester. It's not entirely the school's fault of course, since it's community college most people have part or full time jobs that take time away from school, they take time off, etc. But finishing in two years doesn't happen for most.

I took it easy and didn't max out my semesters (I think I took six classes one semester and it was rough); I ultimately did go for five semesters, but my last was only two classes. I also had two APs that transferred from high school which helped me out, though. And one that went totally unused. I don't mind so much though, since I didn't max out some semesters I left room to take classes that I wasn't required to take but still interested in, and taking this semester off lets me save money to move out (pretty much mandatory to transfer) and take my sister with me. All's well that ends well.

I wasn't determined to finish in two years, but it's frustrating because the school I go to is designed to facilitate a smooth transfer after two years.
I've taken bio labs this semester and last, so in that sense I'm taking six, but because of the credits it's still not enough. I couldn't do seven.
It will all work out somehow, I'm sure. It's just an additional headache I didn't need to have. And since I found a school I really like that I could potentially get into it sucks that this will complicate things.

Well, whenever you get around to it, keep in mind that Atlus likes to put both of the 3DS EO games on sale on the eShop for only $15 each~

Speaking of school, I'm dreading having three to four more semesters to finish before I can get my degree...I just want to get to working already and starting to sustain myself. I've been a full-time college student for more than three years now. I feel so behind other people.

Tbh I feel a bit better after taking my psychiatric medication and taking deep breaths, but I swear this happens every month or two. @_@

    Then again I'm probably doing the wrong thing by listening to Heavy Metal, like I usually do, when I feel like this. <.<;

Thanks for caring, though, I really appreciate it. :3

So I just watched Jungleground. And wow, it's a '90s movie. I mean...rollarblades in the first 5 minutes.

I only watched it for JR Bourne.

About 13. Part it also depends on the letters used, so it can vary. Ls, for example, aren't that wide.

If you're thinking of changing your username, but want to know if it'll fit on one line, let me know and I can tell you.
