Apparently you can imitate barbecue smoking by smoking tea leaves in your oven.

Okay, OP's fixed so it makes sense now.

WHAT DO YOU WANT ME TO DO TO MY TEA LEAVES?

Get a baking stone, rimmed baking foil, and a wire rack. Place the baking stone on the low rack of the oven and scatter an even layer of tea leaves directly on it. Above the stone, place your wire rack with the rimmed baking foil. Now on top of this foil you can add whatever meat you want to cook, provided you tent the top with aluminum.

Those are rough instructions, but the smoked tea provides both the smoked method of barbecued cooking via indirect heat and also the subtle flavours of the tea itself. I might try this with a few ribs.

Ashwin, can you cook for me? I think the opening of this thread could use some catering.

It would be pleasant baking a cake to inaugurate the creation of this thread but I need to find time amid the fifty billion projects and upcoming exams that have decided to rain upon my parade of happy cooking extravaganza.

So if anyone else would like to take the time to bake the thread cake ...

    Caught ya in a typo!

It's just a more logical place to chat and unwind. Other threads can (and will) exist. This is basically for chattering, sharing, etc.

For instance, I got Dr. Luigi today. Feels like it was made in twenty minutes. Not sure if good or bad thing yet.[DOUBLEPOST=1388730587][/DOUBLEPOST]
I've been thinking of doing it for months but then when you seconded the joke in the Square thread I was like... OKAY THAT'S INSPIRATION LET'S DO IT

no this is for coherent discussion and not so much nonsense
at least.. that's what MY IDEA FOR THE THREAD WAS BEFORE SOMEONE STOLE IT

    Basically it's a lounge not a playground.
Like that one area on a playground where people go to sit and hide and talk and get away from the crazy
    that's what this is

    you're welcome

It's 6:30am, some slack must be cut.

Dr Luigi. is just another in the line of "let's pretend Luigi is cool" games that didn't need to be made, as games like Luigis Mansion 2 and Mario and Luigi Dream Team Bros are more than sufficient in showing the Luigi side of the Mario brothers, the crappy spin offs of his big brothers games bring his status down if anything.

I've been thinking it for years. But no rly I think this is something we've all kinda expected/wanted for a while now given the current state of things. Just glad it's finally a thing[DOUBLEPOST=1388730868][/DOUBLEPOST]
no. no. NO. I just said. This is for like discussions and chats and stuff that have meaning and sometimes depth. Basically, it's the spamzone without the spam. but a zone. in the spam zone. but without spam. if anything it's a zone in the spam zone without spam.

So it's a Discussion zone in the Spam Zone for people who don't like writing essays, gotcha.

I can't tell if you mean that because you said 9.8....

It's a fun little game and the 3D models are cool and all, but I feel like I just paid for multiplayer. I wouldn't sway people towards or against it.

EDIT: WHOA CRAIG JUST MADE HISTORY. NON-ADMIN DOUBLE POST
