I'm actually waiting for my mother to get off the phone so I can tell her something important... and it might result in her crying. Can we just... not

 

I love my Niece and my Nephew. I love my sister. Sister's husband is a little... I'm torn between loving him and wanting to punch him in the throat.

But holy crap they need to communicate things better. My sister asked if I could babysit the kids this afternoon so she could clean her carpets. Which, you have kids in the house and animals, stuff is going to get on said carpets. And she mentioned she had them halfway done and her house isn't that big. So I figure on 5 or 6 hours max.

They left about 8.

And as they're leaving, my sister's husband mentions he has a dentist appointment at 1 tomorrow. You didn't think to mention that until tonight? Like: 'oh hey. I got a Dentist appointment on Monday, you want me to make other arrangements or...?' I understand you've been sick and stuff but christ almighty.

Luckily, I'm not actually scheduled to work tomorrow. Even if I still go in and get some stuff in my department done.

favorite episodes are
1. Feat of Clay (written by Marv Wolfman... figures.)
2. Joker's Favor (this episode is genuinely terrifying)
3. On Leather Wings
4. Beware the Gray Ghost (bruce timm played by bruce timm drawn by bruce timm)
5. Dreams in Darkness

I think this show is severely overrated. Not to say that it's not good, but it's often cited as one of the best cartoons out of the U.S. and has achieved this cult status and reputation as a totally infallible show among fans. It's important to remember that even with all the great, classic episodes in this season alone, that there are almost an equal amount of episodes that, if not totally forgettable, range from offensively dull to notoriously bad. I think this and Superman are about the same in quality (though I prefer that show all day long), Batman Beyond would probably be below those, and Justice League reigns supreme. I realize the significance this show held at the time it was released, but I think Bruce Timm and co outdid themselves with each show in this loose continuity after.

 

My birthday is in 13 days and Anime Milwaukee is in 25 + Valentine's. Super excited. :]

Dude the balcony scene (that isn't actually a balcony scene) in Rom & Jul is comical, in essence Romeo appears and says "hey babe, I floated over your garden wall on my love wings, lemme into yr bedroom even though our families want to kill each other probably and we met like forty seconds ago"

My mom chews loudly also which drives my sister and me nuts, but it's become a bit of a running joke with us -- it sounds like it's more serious for you, though, like a source of serious discomfort, so if she's still sad / you're still feeling guilty I think you could just apologize and explain.

Dude you work at Panera?? It sounds like you're in the ~inner (bread) circle~ so I will ask you:
what the **** is in that mac and cheese, i have tried so many times with so many recipes to make it at home and I have failed
And the little home servings you can buy at Target do not taste the same. I need to know I spend so much money there

 

For streaming, Crunchyroll might be in your alley in terms of quality and consistency. Third parties such as animefushigi/animeseason/animetv etc can be hit or miss (also you need to watch out for a billion sketchy ads). Honestly I would say one gets the most bang for their buck in terms of audio and visual quality through downloads but I understand if it may not be viable at the moment. Good luck.

It is very hard finding anime we both enjoy. She almost quit Fate/Zero because of the whole magic thing. But I convinced her to stay with it.
