Got to drive back in a snowstorm that's going on. :)

Not as intense as last year and we were able to go 50 MPH on the freeway, where the limit is 70 MPH, because the freeway was pretty clear, just a bit hard to see because of the snow coming toward us.

Definitely better than last year, where we went 25 MPH and the freeway roads were completely covered and could hardly see anything.

 

Considering I heard they made Dr. Doom a hacker nerd, probably for the best.

the call list for my class in the public school i went to do my last few months of highschool had 44 students and there were always 18-20 people, and they still made studying in sane environment impossible i hope im rich in the future bc i do not want my children in public schools in brazil (or better yet i hope their quality and government funding increases to a somewhat learnable environment!!) (still wouldnt mind being rich.)

I watched Strong World for the second time recently and my thoughts about it remain the same. I really dislike it (this is relative as far as OP is concerned. I love having it and even with my many reservations think it's better than many other manga spin-off films.). It's regurgitating many of the themes and ideas and straight-up plot-points from Arlong Park, Skypiea, and Water 7. I've seen people say that this is common in OP (which is actually only true about W7 doing similar things to Arlong Park from what I can remember off the top of my head, though there's an entirely different context with higher stakes and so many other things going on at the same time that I would say it's kinda not even the case there), but that doesn't excuse this. Since it's not canon you could maybe logic that some of these faults can be forgiven out of the context of OP continuity, and as singular piece it's not bad, but I can't look at it like that knowing what informs it and how it selectively ignores certain things so it can... exist. Perhaps my biggest problem with it is how it retracts or selectively ignores specific developments in Nami's character, who, as we all know, is the best character in the series. I said Kaku was my favorite but I think it's a tie maybe. Nami is my actual favorite but Kaku's like low-key also my favorite.

 

Sleep is that thing you always want more of but when you get too much you kind of hate yourself for it.

Also, for some reason Jeff Bridges appeared in my dreams last night. That was an adventure.

 

for me sleep is that thing that i need more of but dont want yet when i lie down i cant resist and waking up is soo rough. like i want to be awake but my body is not letting me get up. its kinda painful.

last not i had a dream that i bought socks but they were the wrong kind so i was upset. what is going on in my brain

 

somehow I've ended up determined to make KH2FM my first plat trophy so now I'm working my way through the mission hell

Customer I didn't recognize: "You know, every time I'm in here -no matter what time of day- you're here. Do you...live in Panera?"
"Well, I work full-time, usually average 45 hours. My availability is very flexible so my schedule changes week to week depending on where I'm needed most, but I'm still guaranteed my 40 hours. Since I'm training as a shift supervisor, my shifts are at least two hours longer than everyone else's...even on non-training days. So there's always a high chance of me being here whenever you come in."
"...so you do live here."

i think i made my mom cry tonight
we were eating dinner and i interrupted a conversation with "i'm sorry, but could you chew with your mouth closed, please?" she wasn't like being disgusting about it and she wasn't even talking but i could hear her chewing and my skin was crawling and i couldn't take it. i think it caught her off guard. i could see tears in her eyes.
