I just watched "Under the Skin."

Creating a Hama Boost, Mudo Boost, Samsara, and Die for Me Anubis did not take as long as I was expecting. Only like 2.5 hours.

 

I got the first trade and I'm trying to get the second one cause I found it for 9.99! I already love it >< I've been waiting to read it for months.

A goddess like Scarlett Johansson driving around the streets of Glasgow in a white van, sweet talking and then picking up lower class trash, taking them home and removing their skin. Also lots of dicks.

It takes a really different turn around issue #19 so be prepared for that but definitely let me know your thoughts as you go through!

 

I didn't dislike it or anything, in fact I'm confident enough to call it "pretty good" right now, and I'm pretty used to weird things, being a sci-fi fan. It's just that there's so little information explicitly given about what's going on. I feel like I know the gist of the plot and what each event means.

Like I consider myself a pretty tolerant person but this is such a big and horrible peeve of mine
I had this friend that would breathe really deeply and audibly and it drove me ****ing crazy

 

i wont get into this but this + eating noises drives me actually crazy

Don't get me wrong, I enjoyed it too. But I feel the same- there was absolutely no context. Never explained why she was doing what she was doing or why she STOPPED doing what she was doing. Also random man trying to rape her at the end was err...

Exactly my thoughts. I feel like the ending was partly that way only to finally show what she was.

There's a point where you have to stop barely giving audiences information, because if you do that, we only end up with what we think happened and why we think they happened.

 

You three already went. You had a nice trip. Cat brought me back a rock from Mars. Yay!
