    I can easily see myself having the same thing Marie has with purple but with green in a couple years

    taking a course on sci fi literature next semester. pretty effing excited for that

    The first link I clicked had 24 chapters, last upload was on Sep 22 2014. There' s 21 volumes total though which I assume roughly amounts to 210 chapters. I also found it in a top 5 untranslated manga list.
    I can' t find full French scans or dubs either, I assume its copyrights holders are anal retentive about it.
    Pretty sure the whole series (animated or not) can easily be bought in French though.

    Somehow I expected you to quote that post since you also commented on something I said about Harlock a year or so ago.
    But yeah, I expected something like that. That's disappointing. Apparently Viz released the manga but they're hard to get a hold of. I did see that there's a group who is translating it but they've only done 8 chapters and haven't updated since September. Hopefully one of these days it will be more accessible.

    The top 5 untranslated manga list I mentioned was written by a guy who worked for Viz, he said what Viz translated was actually the sequel to the original manga.
