One of the only reasons I even consider buying an Xbox One. That and Killer Instinct.

I'm one of the people who agree with Alien Isolation being a bit too long. Thing is, I can't piece together why I think that. It's been interesting and fun the whole time, but at this point I'm just dying to be done with it. IT MAKES NO SENSE.

The game was inspired by Crazy Taxi and Jet Set Radio. It's not pretentious or even containing a story. It's just a constant string of fun with interesting enemies and bosses.

    "GET READY TO DIE, ASSHOLE!"

One thing I've heard complaints of is the fact that the game often jokes about some tedious task (something like "You know you have to do this three times, it's a video game!") but the fact is you're still doing that tedious task.

It's not that big, I know, just something I'm aware of.

I'm not interested enough to call it a console seller :|

Remember when Blood Dragon did the same exact thing and everybody sucked its dick? Because they did it with a tutorial that kept interrupting and even halting the game. At least wit ha tedious task, I can make it fun by using cars as trampolines while shooting teddy bears.

No one's trying to convince anyone to get a console here. Because whatever, taste. I'mma just say that SO doesn't neeeed to be a console seller, paired with the two games you listed? That's some serious power level and diversity to me. I don't need a game I like to be a console seller. Ya know what? One day an Xbox One will cost me $50, and Sunset will cost $5. It doesn't have to have that worth you're trying to make it have, ya know? I didn't buy a PS2 to play Ratchet and Clank, but do I still jerk it to the knowledge that it's on there? Damn right I do. But it wasn't a system seller! This is why I'm going for quantity of good titles, not waiting for one day to say it'll give me a handjay if I pay $500.

Also, fixed my previous post. IS AUTO YOUTUBE SERIOUSLY A THING, @Misty ?

I only remember the tutorial since I haven't gotten to play Blood Dragon myself yet, so no comment there.

This is one doozy of a paragraph.

I'm not saying you're trying to convince me of anything aside from the idea that Sunset Overdrive is worth my attention, and that's not a bad thing to do obviously, everybody recommends stuff I like. I was just trying to say that, from all the stuff I've seen, I'm not interested enough in the game even if it were on a system I owned, y'know?

Also, I'll probably get an Xbox One in like a year or two, when it actually (probably) has a library I care about. Only reason I have a PS4 already is cause my brother wanted to get it.

Yeah, it came off more heated than intended. I tried throwing jokes in there to tone it down. It wasn't meant to be antagonisitc.

That's fine and all, but you said as it's only complaint outside of the thing I rebutted with Blood Dragon (dude fuck Blood Dragon, it's not fun) that it's not a "system seller" and to me.... No game should have that responsibility? Lots of games got crapped on early last gen because of that. A game's only requirement is to be good on its own merits, not on its availability. I'll buy a console to play games. Not any one game that sold me.

If any one game has sold me on buying a new console it's Evil Within or Wolfenstein: The New Order because DAT ID TECH THO. Outside of that? I wanna play Lords of the Fallen, I wanna play Zoo Tycoon, I wanna play KI, D4, and Dead Rising 3 (I LOVE DEAD RISING GAMES SO MUCH). No one game is selling me. I'm like a child looking into a toy store window near Christmas and dreaming of all the possibilities, not one.

Again, can't say anything about Blood Dragon myself :|

No no no it's not that I think worse of a game because I wouldn't buy a console for it. That's irrational. I'm just not interested enough in the Xbox One's library to consider it. Aside from the two games I've mentioned before, there really isn't anything I see in its future that I want...it's not just one game for me. If anything, there usually needs to be like...I guess 6 or so for me to consider a system? And that's like, at least half that amount should be released when I get that system. I dunno. Sunset is just not hooking me yet, so....yeah.

His name is Hyaclam, a portmanteau of Octoclam, a red octopus Medabot, and Hyaku Shiki, the original gold mobile suit (because he's gold). And of course his ability is Sniper and all of his moves have beam in the name because i don't half ass my puns.

Eh, Sunset has me hooked. Reminds me of JET SET CRAZY CRACKDOWN. I'm fine with that, more than. I have to get an Xbox One no matter what- Halo ANNNNNNND Scalebound? But I have to do that with PS4, too. Bloodbourne? LET IT DIE? Salt and Sanctuary? LittleBigPlanet 3? Mmmmm. (Real talk: All my favorite japanese companies have separated: P* basically went NIntendoxXbox, Tango is multiplat, Tecmo went full Nintendo, and Suda is going Sony. This makes my life hurt inside).

Weirdly, one of my favorite experiences with the console (still don't own one, use one a lot) is building stuff with friends in Project Spark. It's really fun collaborating with your friends to build a project... that you can play!

I love it. It was the Pokemon of my childhood.
For some reason I was never a fan of Pokemon as a kid. I knew it existed but just didn't care. It wasn't until Gen III that I became interested, reading about it online and catching a few episodes, and it wasn't until Gen IV that I started actively seeking it out through the cards and show. I didn't have a DS for Gen IV so only ever played them for about 10 minutes at a time when I got my hands on a cousin's copy or something. Though I played roms of gens 3, 4, and 5 a couple years ago so I have experienced them. And I'm still a fan of Medabots. The first show holds up surprisingly well. The second one holds up not at all, and may be responsible for me moving onto other things when I was a kid.
