my sister has a heart gold cartridge. should i play it? i've never played johto and want something else to play for a while
i wish she still had the box and I WISH she still had her platinum with the box. id steal that so fast. i miss gen iv.

 

johto is the first gen i remember playing and i still have my GBC cartridge as well as my heartgold box and pokewalker, ehehe

i'd definitely recommend it if you've never been through the region

 

Definitely, though going back to older generations of Pokemon always is a bit jarring (especially from Gen IV.)

Heart Gold has what I think is the best post-Pokemon League, since you get to explore two regions, for 16 total Gym Leaders, and you get to fight Red.

 

Definitely. I've played gen 3, 4, and 5 roms, but having played gen 6 so much it will be strange.

A couple years ago I had this plan to go back and get the Pokemon games, but now with gen vi and supposedly being able to get all the Pokemon between XY and ORAS, I don't really see a need. Yeah, it would be cool just to be able to experience the older gens, but they're so pricey that it's not worth it imo.

Going on 4 weeks of this...whatever this thing is. I mean, if you hear me talk, you can tell I'm still sick. I sound really congested. No, I haven't been to the doctor because I don't want to go if it's just a cold virus. And there's not really much a doctor can do for it. I'm taking in vitamin C. I'm drinking water. I try to get sleep but sometimes when I lay down, then I can't breathe.

...And then I started coughing today to the point my ribs hurt.

I've had worse colds than this. This one just seems rather...stubborn. When I think it's almost done, then it throws something new at me.

If my face starts hurting...that's when it might be doctor time. because that will be a sinus infection.

 

Prop yourself up with a pillow if you can so you're not completely laying flat on your head.

Get one or two (or more if needed) big bags of Lays, preferably baked Lays since they're healthier. They don't really make the coughing go away completely, but they'll sooth your throat and get rid of some of the tickling that causes the feeling of having to cough -- always worked wonders for me. They're also good for sore throats if you still have one. It's the salt.
