Is Gurren Lagann any good? I ask because I'm going to be seeing it for the first time on Toonami when it airs and I want to know if I should put interest in it. Also, because I say someone posy picture of it in this thread (not sure who, just skimmed the thread) and it reminded me.

 

It's my second favorite anime. Goes from shonen mock to triumphant kids show to HOLY BALLS WHAT IS THIS GHOST IN THE SHELL? P. nice, honestly.

 

On a similar note, is Kill La Kill any good? I've heard good things about it but the animation and the... very blatant fanservice is kinda off putting to me. So, can anyone convince me otherwise?
