Finally got around to watching The Legend of Korra Book 2 - Episode 8: A New Spiritual Age.

I only saw the last half (from where Korra says she'll take the bird home) when it premiered on November 8, 2013 because my mom promised we'd be back from my birthday dinner before 8:00 PM (and my dad was also coming by around that time to give me money) and failed to keep her promise.

Can someone explain the following things to me?

    • Why did Korra turn into a baby?
    • How did Iroh end up in the spirit world?
    • When waving goodbye to Iroh, how did Korra suddenly get so far away from him?
    • When Vatu first spoke to Korra, how did Korra suddenly appear in front of his prison? (Pretty much like the above.)

Thanks for the spoilers, Amaury, it's not like I wanted to watch the show or anything

Use the tags, don't assume people keep up with the show.

Fine. Add spoilers in your quote reply to me, too, then. :)

People should really keep up with it, though. :P

No, but I don't have the system to play the games, so moot point.

But it's good- you should keep up with it. They're are emulators and stuff right? So spoiling wouldn't be a bummer? Like, you have all the power in the world to keep up with it but because you're keeping up with other things you can't keep up with this one topic that may interest you?

Maybe I don't have good enough DL speed to watch Korra and I was waiting for the DVD releases.

    Maybe I have work.

Maybe I have a child to raise.

Not a moot point at all. In fact, it's the entire point of why spoilers are naughty. You can't just throw obligations and context on people's lives while ruining something they may want to see.

Amaury, we don't all have the luxury of doing nothing but staying home and watching TV at the same time as you. Start understanding that. It's not our fault you can't use common courtesy.

    1. She was trying to act tough on the outside, but she was actually afraid of the Spirit World and being left alone to fend for herself. She felt small and powerless, and the Spirit World made her appear that way until she confronted her fears.
    2. He died, and because he very spiritual, he ended up there.
    3. Spirit World is weird & does not abide by the laws of the physical plane.

I don't care about spoilers, though. (Plus, it's not like I gave detail-to-detail paragraphs of what happened in the entire episode.) For me, reading and watching are two different things. Even if I read, "DigitalAtlas shot at someone in self-defense on the show Out in the World," it wouldn't ruin it for me personally when I got around to watching the actual episode.

Also, since we're on the subject, aren't the shows that do the "last time on" and "next time on" spoiling things, then? Ice Road Truckers, for example: each episode contains a recap of the previous episode and some parts of the next episode.

What if you missed the last episode?

Even people with the most hectic schedules can keep up with things (of course, that's not everyone, and I understand some people can't), but it's silly to get into an argument over something like this, so I think I'm going to respectfully leave the conversation before things we may regret happen.

I do apologize, though, for the spoiler.

If I miss an episode then watch the episode that comes after it, then that's on me. That's not another human being yelling

Once again we're at a point where you're arguing for an opinion when it doesn't matter what you're opinion is- you're wrong dude. Keep spoilers to a minimum to risk people getting upset that you spoiled something for them. It's pretty simple.[DOUBLEPOST=1408127524][/DOUBLEPOST]

Opinions can't be wrong or right because they're opinions?

    An incorrect opinion.

My opinion is that gravity only works because I wear Nike shoes.

    Wrong.

My opinion is that Hitler didn't kill anybody.

    Wrong, also.

Opinions can be wrong- saying "I can spoil things because victim blaming" is wrong.

That whole opinions can't be wrong defense is so overplayed. It's taste can't be wrong. It's taste- there's nothing you can do about it. Opinions can be very wrong. It's my opinion we should ban you for no reason. I'm wrong to say that.

But opinions aren't facts. I could say, "It is my opinion, from how it's running, that horse #1 will win the race," and be completely wrong or be completely right.

The Earth is round is a fact can't be argued against.
