mfw most movies and TV shows are shown at 24fps
mfw it's half the reason I don't watch TV
mfw 99% of my entertainment is consumed at a buttery smooth 60fps or higher

so that summer reading list i laid out. well i followed it like not at all. or rather i got started on it, got bored with it, read other stuff, and dont want to return. no man's land is such a monstrous undertaking and i was really not prepared for it. i knew going in how big it and everything surrounding it is, but i was burned out after reading all of the things leading up. some of that 90s art is really hard for me to look at. not all of it, though. after cataclysm i read something like 10 books before going to aftershock. just couldnt do another right away. and i know no one is reading this but w/e
and listing everything ive read this summer makes me feel accomplished sooo
    batman year one
    the killing joke
    long halloween
    man who laughs
    a lonely place of dying
    black mirror
    green arrow year one
    hush
    hush returns
    heart of hush
    hush money
    house of hush
    batgirl/robin: fresh blood
    kicking assassins
    batman contagion
    bane of the demon
    batman legacy
    batman cataclysm
and rn 178 chapters of fairy tail
and i guess like 200 some chapters of one piece. damn that was a long time ago
o and the last 9 chapters of reborn and this manga called believers. and oda's wanted.
    i think thats it
    and the first metropolis manga

seconded. I would say we need a dedicated pc building thread but I'm pretty sure it would just end in pretty pics from you and Lux and me crying about my bank account

I probably could swing a budget system in the next few months but I could also wait a while and do something pretty and better...

The whole FPS deal... 60fps does make a difference but it's not the only measure of quality, which is what I think SJ was getting at. There was some outrage when The Order 1886 (lol misty shut up about this damn game (i will never)) was revealed as being 30fps but I felt the devs gave pretty good reason for it.
    http://www.vg247.com/2014/05/29/the-order-1886-ps4-60fps-why-it-has-to-run-at-30/

Now of course if the game wasn't a PS4 exclusive they could perhaps have it play at 60fps on high-end PCs, but at least they're being realistic for the console they're developing for... and the overall point that 30fps can be done beautifully if they're pushing other parts of the visuals is pretty sound.

Speaking of pc's I need to redo my cable management and look into finally sorting out that basement cover I've been thinking of making. If there's one thing the 900D needs, it's separation between the basement and the rest of the case.
Also those baller SSD trays that the 750D has wouldn't go astray either.

Not to sound like a negative/dark person but the only reason I can afford something like this is because of my accident and it is by no means worth it at all, I hate what has happened over the course of the last two years. That being said, if there was some way for me to reach out to others and help make these "dream builds" possible I would do it in a heartbeat. Idk, maybe some day in the future who knows.

If you want to build a computer and you aren't at a financial spot where your current build is "enough" then I would save until you get there. We as young adults have a ton of time, and settling for something that isn't as nice just so you can get it "now" is a mistake I know far too well. That is one reason my build is so outrageous, that and the money from the crash doesn't hurt.

Don't even get me started on cable management. I wish I could just rip out the excitement from my mind when I build a computer because that makes me rush a tad bit, therefore making the cable management not as clean as I would like it. I am going to try my best with this build especially if you guys want pics

Also a computer build / picture thread wouldn't be a terrible idea. I'd like it.

Well the parts come in tomorrow (with the exception of like four extra case fans because meh) so I will be sure to post pictures with a build log into that thread once I am done with it :D

If anything inspires me to beef up my desk game it is seeing the desks of others.

If anyone knows of a corner desk that's big enough to fit an eATX case, three monitors, a laptop and two consoles, please let me know. I need it for reasons.

would those reasons happen to involve an eATX case, three monitors, a laptop, and two consoles?

    I-I don't know what you're talking about...

and in other news, 24 pin, 8 pin and 6 pin devices should always come with an optional 90 degree adapter. Seriously, this **** is well overdue.
