It just got stale to me, like a joke that was being repeated, but I won't say it didn't have its moments. If they really wanted to change Bumblebee into a better bot (lol yeah right) they should have tried giving him a voice rather than stripping it after the first movie. I'd prefer if they just gave Bumblebee a young guy's voice, so he could connect better with Sam instead of being a walking pop culture reference machine.

I too liked the (minor) development of Age of Extinction's Autobots, though I really do wish Bumblebee got the spotlight in the final act, rather than, well, Optimus AGAIN.

Those things are more for rendering and stuff, though, aren't they?

    Hai Tale. c:

Also for anybody who plays good action games (Read: DMC3) and played Drakengard 3, would you recommend it to me? if yes, why? If no, why? Sorry, I haven't ot any time yet to check any reviews, I'll check some in a min.

Anybody is free to answer, I'll just wish it could be somebody who played DMC3 or at the least the real DMC because to me that si the holy grail of action games.

Just a random question but wondering what my next PS3 game should be.

Well this depends on what action games you're into. Drakengard 3 I haven't played, but the graphics looks beautiful <3. But even before wondering about Drakengard 3, you should look into playing 1 or 2, and if under any circumstance you can't, I'd understand. (My best bet is 1 and 2 is Pc or nintendo only)

Another game you could play is Metal Gear Solid Rising if you played 2 and 4. As an action game, it's pretty ****ing hard at the beginning, and I still find the achievements/trophy to be impossibly hard to unlock, the games fun, and you get more from Raiden's overall character development.

There's WET an action game based on a cleaner who gets contracts to kill or retrieve certain merchandise for the right price. The story isn't all that great, but the non stop action and amazing soundtrack kept me going. The gameplay is mainly focused on a "Slide and shoot" kind of deal.

That's all I can think of from my head, I might update later. ;0

Also my recommendations would be much better if I knew what consoles you have.

I finished MGR like 3 times before I sold my 360. So no thanks, it was amazing, addictive and all but I don't have time to rebuy it and refinish it all the way to Revengeance mode.

I am mainly ehh on DG3 because I heard when it was on development it was at 30 FPSs, and that's a no-no for me on action games (Or any game that has any kind of action). It does look beautiful but if you are gonna sacrifice anything in action game it better not be gameplay or frame rate.

    I have a PS3 and a 3DS. Thinking about buying DG3 or Dragon's Crown next.

    Thanks again, btw. c:

If it were both action and FPS, that would've sound very promising. :o
Have you played Heavenly Sword? That's another good action game.

I've more or less decided to go with a "future proof" build, tl;dr I got a little cash from (the guy who was driving in my car crash)'s insurance company so I'm not so worried on which is better, be it two 780ti's or a titan black. Idk, I am just feeling it ya know?

Devil May Cry 3 veteran right here (WOW WHO'DA THUNK)

I haven't played Drakengard 3 but did watch roughly an hour of its gameplay.

The game has gorgeous character models and cutscenes, but pretty damn bland looking arenas and, as has been stated before, it only runs at 30 FPS. The action is fast and pretty brutal, but I don't think the combat is on the character-action level (air combos and launchers and weapon swapping and such.) Looks to me more like a hack-and-slash game. Still, I do want to pick it up sometime when it's cheaper.

I'm pretty sure you've already played Bayonetta if you're a DMC fan, but if you haven't, get on it. The FPS is a little weaker on the PS3 version and stutters (where as the 360 version is a stable 60,) but it's still one of my favorite action games ever.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma is also a damn good buy. Really extensive combat system, hella tough bosses, upgrading weapons, neat (though not at all deep) story, and you play as Ryu Hayabusa, my namesake.

Initially I was going to say to go with the SLI, but what you could do is stick with the single Titan Black (I'm guessing 6GB GDDR5?) and, since you'll have an open slot for later expansion, buy another Titan Black further down the line for when you need extra power, since the card will have gotten at least a little cheaper.

Alright, thanks Hayabusa. 30 FPSs in action = lolno

Yes I've played Bayonetta while I owned a 360 (Before selling it to afford a PS3 for Guilty Gear Xrd). Was pretty good if a little QTE-driven. But to each their own tastes.

NGS I got recommended, might look into it. I've played only the first NG game for the NES, but I know the genres are different between old and new NG.

So it's now Dragon's Crown vs Tales of Graces F....

Hang on, I've got something to say... A lot of the best action games run at 30 FPS. No, really. Killer is Dead, No More Heroes, Enslaved, etc. I think even Mad World and Dead Rising run at 30fps, but before we start counting frames, I need to point out why that line of thinking is why you're about to pick two boring and bland games over Drakengard 3.

60 fps isn't a magic bullet for quality

Ocarina of Time ran at 15 FPS, and Panzer Dragoon ran at 18. The original Sin and Punishment certainly was nowhere near 30fps, and it played smooth and fast. A game can be designed around a poor framerate, which Drakengard 3 IS. In fact, the only reasons it has so many negative reviews is because of this 60 fps hype train. I can assure you, a lot of games you love and adore ran at terrible frame rates. I can assure you the 7th gen is filled with games that never hit over 30fps. Yet, it's a buzzword now. Why? Because console players feel the need to defend themselves against PC players who can put everything to 60 fps and Sony used it as a marketing buzzword when they promised every game to run at 60 fps (something that clearly doesn't really matter for them as they've already gone back on it).

I know you prefaced by saying action at 30fps, even cited a good example with Bayonetta on PS3. The thing is, Bayo proves my point as well- Bayo was designed around 60 fps and to take advantage of the Xbox 360's fill rate especially. It was built around the Xbox and then SEGA goofed porting it by removing a lot of textures and and locking the fps at 30 so it would run smoothly. And it sucked. But not because it was at 30 fps, but rather because it was designed around 60fps. I know we want to make it easy to figure out if a game's crap or not, and objective tech facts are easy to find out in order to put off the purchase of a game upon release, but that's just not how it's ever worked... If we could look in the code to find out if a game's fun or not, it'd be like if we could read the intstructions of a board game to figure out if it'll be good for a game night. But it's all the elements of the game's design and what it's rules allow that make it fun.

Shadow of the Colossus ran at Crap fps and ya'll love it so much :P

To talk of DG3's need of 60 fps is bollocks- the enemies aren't smart nor aggressive nor are the moves used by the player very intricate. It runs perfectly fine at 30 fps and there really wouldn't be an improvement by running at 60fps. After all, we're talking of a musou hack n slash, not a character action game. I'm pretty sure even the original DGs and Nier ran at 30 fps.

If people prefer games at a certain FPS, they aren't wrong because you know opinions exist.

That is the plan for the most part, I like my options being opened for the future. Don't get me wrong, the Titan Black is just mental and is probably better than what most "hardcore" PC gamers have/could afford so I am very thankful. It is just nice to have that option down the line.

tl;dr single card now so if I want to go SLI in the future I can just snag another Titan Black

But he didn't say he didn't like games at certain FPS. He said not being at a certain FPS was bad for a genre, a point I countered with classics. This is how discussions work. Also, Busa and I understand each other very well so I wouldn't worry about it. We both merely try to reintroduce the other to information.

Oh wow man, I was just half-joking. o_o

I know 60 FPSs =/= Quality but it does help having a stable frame rate, which I read DG3 doesn't has.

And half of those games you mentioned I didn't play and half didn't finish, actually I only finished SoTC, Bayonetta and S&P.

Anyways, I got Dragon's Crown, Elf's legs are a weapon of mass destruction.

It's only unstable in the best way like when you're plowing through multiple enemies. Like how in Sin and Punishment (GOOD ON YOU FOR PLAYING THAT!!!) slows down when you do a charge attack and blow away like ten enemies and it has to slow down to load all the points and it feels super cool. Treasure finds what will slow their game down and adds it in to make cool moments. A lot of musou games like Dynasty Warriors and N3 do this to give the player a feeling of power.

I didn't know you were joking though- like, a lot of people actually SWEAR BY THAT and make 30fps jokes nowadays and it's just... It's just annoying to see for someone like me.

    Oh I see, it's like S&P then.

Anyways I don't like Musou games that much unless they got some insane depth going on.

Nah don't worry, I was joking. I only care about framerates in fighting games, and even then only demand a stable framerate on all the times a combo is being executed. c:
