yeah it was exactly what you would expect: overdone action scenes, lack of a plot, some attempts at humor. don't waste the ticket cost.

It's not that I don't believe you... it's that I feel obligated to see a TMNT movie.

I didn't watch TMNT as a child so I guess I'm not exactly "target audience" here nor did I have any kind of attachment to the movie. I do get that people feel obligated to see it but that's never a great feeling, going into a theater thinking "well I HAVE to see it" lol

I dooooo have to see it. I may enjoy it because it's from a franchise I love!

That, and I have a secret crush on all but one of the Transformers movies. You saying overdone action makes me think "Oh! I love Fist of the North Star and Super Robot shows!"

I may enjoy it. Probably won't.

    So I'll love it.

People say the Transformers movies suck and I like them

    Yep

    Really good

The first, Dark of the Moon, and Age of Extinction

    Good trilogy

Same boat here. It'll be dumb, but c'mon, I'll take giant turtles fighting ninjas and shredders with swords and staves over any stupid rom-com or Sex Tape.

The only redeeming factor of Transformers 3 was the funny Asian guy, everything else was kind of bad.

I was never a fan of the Transformers movies after the first one.

At this point, Michael Bay is just cashing in on nostalgia and ruining childhood names with completely unnecessary adaptations/sequels

I am under the opinion the best of the live-action Transformers movies is definitely the fourth one. Two was terrible and the third made me want to kill myself if it dragged on any longer. The first one... has not aged well but it is okay.
A shame they have no character with no real purpose of being there besides fanservice.

I enjoyed TMNT when I was a kid. I must have watched Secret of the Ooze so many times...And had a stupid pre-teen girly crush on Shredder oops. Though just from the commercials, I can tell I have no desire to see the new movie. The turtles just look...not right to me.

Transfomers and Age of Extinction are definitely the best of the bunch, which is sadly not saying much at all. Dark of the Moon is alright to me, because Sentinel Prime had a not-completely-crazy plan (ignoring how gravity and polarity on a planet-size scale would actually work,) and the only annoying human character this time around (note: not being annoying does not equal great) was...John Malkovich's character. What a waste of an actor.

Compared to the rest of the colorful, vibrant cast OH WAIT THAT INCLUDES THE TWINS AND A PEEING ROBOT they were at least cool to watch in action. I just wish Grimlock had a bigger role in Age of Extinction, but I'm also half-glad that they didn't ruin him like they did Devastator (who literally sucked) or Optimus in Dark of the Moon (Transformers Prime's version of Optimus makes that version in the movie look like a God damn barbarian.)

You know... it is kinda sad that they introduce a ton of Transformers in each movie but off the top of my head I can only name a handful of them. :\

It's also sad that they essentially keep doing the same damn plot every film with the most variation being why whatever city is being destroyed at that time. Prime, meanwhile, starts its first big arc in the first five episodes with FUCKING ROBOT ZOMBIE PLANET INCOMING with action scenes that I can only dream of being done on the current films' budget and human characters whom I actually like.

Also, Arcee. She's shit in the few appearances she gets in the films. She's my favorite character, meanwhile, in Transformers Prime. WHAT GIVES.

I could probably name every named Transformer to appear in Prime off the top of my head. Prime is awesome.
