The main thing to remember about college: you're paying big for these classes. Don't fuck up and get lazy. It INFURIATES me when I'm paying ~$5,000 a semester and seeing kids in my classes barely doing any work, while I'm stressing out nearly each week.

Also, find the food places that you like quickly. Saves you lots of time. At least, it did for me.

and luckily the school is nearby and i've been traveling through that part of town for most of my life, so i already know that there's a Wendy's nearby c:

 

oh my god oh god this so much omg

there's this one guy who was in two of my classes last semester -- both of them he showed up 20+ mins late to a 50 min class, brought absolutely nothing and slept. every. single. day. he even showed up very late on the day of the final. the ****ing final. i finished it early and when i was leaving he was also leaving, meaning he didn't even try. it makes me so mad. If you don't want to be here, don't be here. it's a choice. i just have a general disgust for disrespectful or disrupting people in a classroom. but now that im not in hs i think i'm a little more justified in getting pissed off so much because of it, plus there's the added thing of them paying for it and it being a choice.

my first class was at 10 both semesters last year. that was nice. im going to have some trouble adjusting to a 9 class this semester. what's your school like? is it a 4-year thing or something? mines a 2 year. the campus is small which makes things easier. i have to worry about all that graduation stuff and figuring out where i want to transfer. again. i feel like i just went through all of this a yea- oh wait i did.

 

oooof, that's pretty rough. How long is the class? The 50 mins ones are pretty nice since it's not overly long & you can squeeze out juuuuust enough attention to make it through till the end without wanting to jump out a window. Before my school switched to semesters last year, we were on quarters (which is soooo much better as a system imo). though most of the classes were all 2 hours long. which was actually Hell.

unfortunately I have 8 AMs every single day this semester, so I know far too well how you're feeling ;~;

 

four years and it's a pretty sizable campus
and i hated trying to figure out where to go; honestly, the worst part of graduating tbh

yeah, i'm getting all the crap required classes out of the way asap to avoid that
i am so sorry i had to wake up at 6 every day because my high school started at 7:20 and it is hell

yeah it's 50 minutes (which is like heaven considering that I had 2 hour classes in HS)
every day starts either at 9 or 9:30, so it's not great, but at the same time it's better than starting at 7:20 for absolutely NO good reason

I am so excited because I am going on vacation in two week's time. An entire week without retail. An entire week of rest and relaxation. I am so looking forward to this.

 

My vacation went wonderfully last week, I hope yours is equally as good.
