I'm just trying to imagine the entire image and how she's standing. Because I've been sitting here thinking 'breasts don't work that way.' It could just be the costume but...

    Oh yes, Stephanie Brown.
It was only for 3 issues in the Robin book plus a few in others while they were being released and War Games (kinda).
so for like three months in 2004.

    yeah i understand
If you really want to get into comics, honestly the best thing to do is jump in headfirst. You'll never know everything about everything, but the key is to find something that interests you and branch out over time and slowly you'll accumulate knowledge on a lot of stuff. I was very hesitant to return to comics when I did a year ago for the same reason. If you have a local comic shop, you could go there and talk to the owner. They're generally nice people willing to help and if you tell them what type of things you like they could find somethig that suits you. The great thing about comics is that there's something for everyone because there's just so much.
though i understand if you dont want to get into them

thing is, i really do. a few years back, i read a ton of the iconic batman comics: dark knight returns, year one, killing joke, arkham asylum. and i really loved them, i just didn't know where to go from there. i was looking at reading which ever series earth-9 takes place in because i thought the premise was really cool, but i wasn't sure if it would be a dumb move to read one based in an alternate universe instead of the more mainline stories.

So beating this one song with an S brought me up over 1000 spots on the worldwide leaderboard.

I'm so excited, I can do ridiculously insane songs and it's a miracle. THERE IS HOPE.

I don't know anything about Earth-9 so I can't help you there, but the thing about any alternate universe story or story without a set continuity is that it's generally inconsequential to the mainline, and can be read on its own. You don't have to read a mainline book if that's not what you're interested if. But if you are interested in current, now's a great time to jump in because DC's New 52 is only a few years old. While it wasn't a totally successful reboot, you could theoretically pick up a book without feeling like you're missing out on 70 years of backstory. Their longest-running titles are now only 30 issues in, so you wouldn't be missing much by starting now, and it wouldn't be hard to go back and catch up. I would also recommend looking at trades because you get the same stories told in issues without being concerned with how many issues and across how many series. While I'm not a huge fan of trades for collecting purposes, they're wonderful for reading material. Whenever I get around to reading something like No Man's land, I'm certainly going to go to the trades rather than tracking down and worrying about how many issues there are.
I don't know how much you know about the format comics are released in, but once you understand that, it immediately becomes far less daunting to find what you're looking for and navigate the years and years of releases. Comic Vine is a great place to do some research and get a feel for what was released in which volume. I did a lot of browsing there when I came back and it made things so much easier. Wiki's are great as well. If you need help or something message me and I should be able to help.

Saw new Transformers. Human plot was decent for the Bayformers series and the robot action was pretty enjoyable to boot. I liked that they moved away from Sam and focused on some new characters, wouldn't mind if they stuck with these guys for the next movie.*

I am kinda salty Megatron came back though, this is the second time he's returned and he wasn't even a focus in this one. I guess you could say he is Galvatron though, but lol. Also, wtf was all that about how the New Decepticons are all "FLAWLESS AND BETTER THAN SCRAPHEAP OLD TRANSFORMERS IN EVERY WAY" even though they just ended up getting their cubic butts kicked without even one major good guy robot dying? I guess Bay wanted to avoid killing what few Autobots were left, but I didn't really feel like there was much pressure for the Autobots after they freed Optimus the first time.

Ratchet could count I guess, but that was way early in the film.

Agreeing with pretty much everything you said: Mark Wahlberg's character (no clue how to spell the name) is leagues more likable and enjoyable than Shia (who, by the third movie, was just damn annoying to watch.) Galvatron was a super obvious sequel-bait character for when/if they eventually make a film with Unicron, and I'm not sure if I like how they brought Galvatron into the universe either. Hound kicked so much ass that he might as well have been fighting the vanilla Decepticons from the second and third movies. I'll be honest: seeing Ratchet die did make me feel a little sad, seeing as he was one of the more likable Autobots. Guess that's what happens when you give a character nothing important to do for two films.

    DINOBOTS THOUGH

Galvatron is canon and across many of the generations. So, that's actually being faithful. That said, yeah, the whole WE BUILT A NEW ARMY and they have this radical new way of transforming that's far more efficient being followed by Hound demolishing nearly all of them like they were nothing kind of made their entire build up pointless. Not going to complain though, it was all pretty cool

so I just found out there's an office for BBC Worldwide like half an hour from where I live
and somehow the scripts for the first five episodes of DW Series 8 were leaked from there

ah, it's not shocking at all that it'd happen when they trust people down here with that stuff
