That wasn't in the original film... In case that's what you meant.

    I don't think...? It's been a while...

It's great above and beyond being a classic. Easily one of my favourite movies.

    oh cool
That futuristic 1920's look is one of my favorite aesthetics. I need to see more stuff with that look and feel. It's what attracted me to Metropolis.

It's not so much the band singing it as the lyrics themselves. And I recognize that you might not feel anything but you must also recognize when something resonates with another. There are 2 or 3 songs from their entire discography that have been apart of this world that I'm building. It would not matter to me who sang them and when.

But I am a writer. Sometimes I don't have a say in what inspires me to write further. However, there is a lot that can discourage me from writing. Such as a person implying that I should not get inspiration from somewhere where I have gotten inspiration just because of a personal preference.

Do with it what you wish.

Well, you did ask for opinions, so I gave it.

And in hindsight, I regret asking for opinions in the first place.

bout time to break out the summer playlist

im thinking that im going to stop buying current comics for the time being and collect only. its hard to read current when you dont have a steady income and this past year proved that. i thought i would stop buying entirely but i miss going to the shop and keeping up with my collection.

Watched Transformers: Age of Extinction yesterday. Fun robot fights, though I wish every giant robot movie could be Pacific Rim level of fights. Ah well, there was a part where a tanker ship was dropped on a monorail. I left happy. These types of movies make me really wanna pickup a game with exploding robots or watch a dumb robot show.

Also, went to a Dave and Busters. While an expensive place in general, I played this really really sick arcade game that I've only known of for a month now.

It was pretty fun. The machine was really cool. The peripheral guns were mounted canons, there was a wheel in between the two players, and the machine itself was one of those sitdown cabs. The whole machine had really good surround sound and had good rumble. Had to yell to communicate with the player next to me. Still, was fun. The game itself was great too. Other notable games there were Mach Storm, Mario Kart: Arcade Grand Prix Deluxe, Dream Raiders (yo, I gotta find a port of this machine...), Pac-Man Battle Royale, and there was some classic stuff there too.

Sounds like somebody wants to rewatch MEGAS XLR (Unless that show wasn't your cup of tea, in which case I understand)

Oh, that reminds me of the time I used to go to the Arcades to play Metal Slug when I was younger. c:

    Re-re-re-re-re-rewatch? I might!

And I love Metal Slug. I was just posting about cabs that seemed... recent :X But yeah, Metal Slug is the bomb. I just never got a chance to play it in arcades.

I went to a thing at GameTime with a bunch of friends a while back, and we played some Dream Raiders and Pac-Man Battle Royale. It was great.

That pirate game blows Dream Raiders far out of the water though.
