Just rewatched How to Train Your Dragon, to prepare to see the sequel in an hour with my girlfriend. This film is really freaking good.

 

Running tally of second shift so far:

$52 drive off while helping a customer
Cutting hands on shards of broken glass while cleaning exterior vaccuums
Cooler not stocked in several days

Two hours left... Let's see what else goes wrong.

 

I'm kind of thinking of doing another premium primetime and would like to create a playlist based on a character from one of my novels I'm writing. And I'd kind of like some feedback, some of his songs are from Nickleback. I understand this band is poorly received on the internet. Would it affect the quality of the playlist? The songs are still tied into this character in question.

edit: and watch the director's cut if you can. i'm watching it now and so far it's added a couple things to one of the characters that makes the whole thing more solid. its not bad without it, but it adds a little more depth.

I'm not a really a fan of Nickelback, but I wouldn't mind listening to them, especially if they're relevant to the character the playlist is about. I actually find character playlists really cool and have been wanting to make one for so long, so I'd definitely be interested in listening (even though I listen to all you guys' shows anyway :b)

There are hundreds of songs better at conveying whatever you're trying to convey than what you'd ever get from Nickelback. They're the definition of bland and soulless, because while they can play instruments and sing fine, I feel nothing personal out of them.

Label me as a "hater" if anybody feels the need to, but I genuinely am disgusted by that band and the constant hypocrisy acted out by Chad Kroeger.

 

My boyfriend put the first order in for his business flyers. The sample ones look pretty baller. Wolverine Tree Care is officially official.
