How many of you remember that Roald Dahl wrote a second book in the installment, entitled "Charlie and the Great Glass Elevator." It featured space travel, shape-shifting extraterrestrials, aging-up pills, and political intervention. I always wondered why they never produced a film sequel instead of rebooting it.

Because Dahl hated the original movie, he refused to allow a movie of Glass Elevator to be produced. The Time Burton film had complete closure so a sequel wasn't needed. There was a stage play and two audio book versions though.

It's part of the themes for Devil May Cry. Sparda (Dante's father) was one of the strongest demons, but he ended up caring about humanity after examining them so much. So to protect humanity, he went against his own kind, sealing the netherworld and separating the human world and the demon world. Later on, he married a human named Eva, who gave birth to Dante and Vergil. While Dante enjoys the human world and the human lifestyle (he even tries running a store,) his brother Vergil chooses to pursue furthering his demonic power.

I like Devil May Cry ok.

So I've been bingeing Caddicarus and I really want to play the Max Payne games, but my PC would lag like crazy if I tried.'

And the fact that Late Goodbye is all over the second game really has me wanting them more.

The first Max Payne game is really low tech. Even my PC can handle it. That said, I have no idea why he said that stuff about the original Xbox versions. The Xbox version and the PC version are identical being that they're the same thing. The PS2 versions probably are fine too, just graphically inferior.

I have been volunteered to stay at a relatives house for a couple weeks to take care of them.
This was made official without my awareness and I'm less than thrilled.
