I am deciding whether or not to drink absinthe. Has anyone tried it? It is perfectly legal here, so I would not be breaking any laws or nothing of the sort.

P.S. The greatest alcoholic content I have consumed in one sitting is no more than a glass of wine. Straight to the big leagues!

I've never tried absinthe by itself. I've only ever had it in Hot Apple Pie which is a drink not sold in stores purely because absinthe is illegal here. I probably wouldn't recommend it if you've never had more than a glass of wine at a time. This is coming from a pretty big drinker. [[ I had like a dozen glasses yesterday no lie. ]] Absinthe is like as strong as it gets and I've heard some pretty sketchy ass stories about people I know drinking it. If you do decide to try it anyway, I highly recommend a cocktail. Don't do it straight.

 

I left out the part of my being underage. But only two years underage, for the legal drinking age is significantly younger here; eighteen as opposed to twenty-one in America. Thanks for the advice. I've decided to postpone my decision until I've aged a bit, although I've gotten away with ordering wine in public places ordering absinthe might be a different matter entirely (I mean I probably could order it anyways 'cause matters of "legalities" are quite lax here, but I'll wait it out anyways because advancing from wine to absinthe is somewhat of a jump!).

so we were talking about dubs recently
yo. that gundam 00 dub is ****ing phenomenal. never watching sub again.

watched awakening of the trailblazer today in english (first time i watched gundam 00 anything in english) and was blown away by the voices.

 

Sunrise doesn't generally do bad dubs, but I'd only call 00 alright.

Awakening the Trailblazer is soooooooooooooooooooooooooobad no matter what language you watch it in.
