Is it wrong to do something horrible to someone behind their back but care so much when you know they've probably done worse behind yours? Do your actions take away your right to be mad or upset?

In the meantime, can we talk about how perfect Emma Stone is?

If you take their eyes first though, it would be difficult for them to get yours. With the blindness and all.

I meant more along the lines of "X does something behind Y's back. Y does something behind X's back, and in the process learns that X did something but doesn't know what that something is."

TRON: Legacy makes me cry. Because I'm emotionally invested in the characters and the story.

this sums up my thoughts on TRON: Legacy pretty well
plus the soundtrack does exactly what it needs to for every scene ( and it's gorgeous on its own )

The more I watch TRON: Legacy, the more I am impressed with the way they made Clu in the movie. The first time I was like 'eh, it's alright.' And then I started picking up the subtleties. Like, little things. And the more I watch, the more human he seems to get. [Or at least a computer playing at one.] When he's in Flynn's safehouse, just before he picks up the bits, he smiles because he recognizes that they're Bits

And whoever did Clu's hair needs an award.

Watches movies for all the wrong reasons.

Eh, TRON: Legacy will never be that impressive to me. Hell, even the original TRON was just decent. I just can't connect to the characters that well, and the story feels kinda shallow.

The one TV show, however, that kicked ass.

I am just...frustrated over the treatment that TRON as a franchise gets from Disney. They played it on Disney XD first off. A channel that I have by virtue of a converter box from my cable company. And it is on one tv in the living room which the box is attached to. Not everyone has Disney XD.

Then, about midway through, it is moved to a Sunday night midnight time slot. Which given it's so-called "target audience" is suicide. The "target audience" is in bed at that time. But I sat up and watched it because I loved seeing it in HD.

It was marketed at young boys. However, somewhere along the line, it was discovered that young adult females were watching it. And you can't market toys to girls. [There was no merchandise to buy. Oh you could buy episodes off of iTunes but you couldn't if you were a Russian or Italian fan. And Uprising was a big hit overseas.]

But TRON as a franchise gets zero attention from Disney unless it's convenient to them. Heck, you can't even find merchandise in the parks anymore. A friend of mine [same one who sent me the Valentine's package] got me a Clu figure that talks and I just about cried because I thought I would never get any sort of TRON merchandise.

Every time there's a TRON Uprising rant, I remember Aaron Stone and hate Disney even more.

Honestly, it got a second season but then got canceled for being "too serious." Fuck that! It was great and it had the right mix of Disney themes (family is important, secrets are hard to keep, balance, morality) and drama (the very first episode of S2 had him find out that his father got killed by the group he'd already been fighting for like a year and he had to struggle with the pain and rage of finally knowing what happened to his dad and whether killing one of the main baddies' henchman was justified). Honestly, it was one of the only game-centric shows that took a risky premise and turned it into something I loved and connected with.
    And then the ending.
The way they ended the show FOREVER.
The bad guy won and got ultimate power.
I guess I'm just supposed to assume that two years of crap that Charlie had to go through physically and emotionally was for nothing because everyone died and the bad guy won.

i could say so much more, but i won't; i just hope that one day i can find both seasons in HD online and download them to have forever -- if i could just find the damn things, i'd watch again in a marathon in a heartbeat

So I built a computer for a friend of mine yesterday and I am now sad because I realized that my computer sucks in comparison.

Yay first world problems, I am complaining about having a GTX 680.
