The Light V.S The Darkness 2

BIC: Kira rubbed her neck thoughtfully, her fingers gently rubbing the scars as she walked down the alley.

 

"What ya doing?"

gex appeared behind kira, a wild look in his eyes.

 

Kira whirled, unsure, as always, what to feel in his presence. "Remembering." she murmured, lowering her hands. "What are you doing?"

 

"Last I checked I was talking to you. Then again I could be wrong."

 

She smiled at that, then leaned against the wall, crossing her arms in front of her chest. "There's something you want from me, isn't there? What is it this time?"

 

"In all honesty, I don't. I'm just waiting for the fireworks."

 

"Fireworks?" she tilted her head. "What's gonna make fire works?" she involuntary rubbed her fingers over her scars again, thinking.

 

Gex stretched his smile from ear to ear.

"The fireworks of war and chaos of course."

 

She smiled, then sighed, her hand dropping again. "I wouldn't mind watching." She walked up toward him, facing the opposite direction. "Sun rise....are you going to disappear and leave?" she asked, keeping all emotion from her voice.

 

"Sunset, I'm never gonna leave. This won't end for awhile."

 

She turned, then smiled fully. "Then I suppose I'll enjoy it, won't I?" Once she knew what "it" was. "Catch me if you can." she challenged, climbing a nearby tree, jumping onto the roof, then running. Just like that day...

 

Gex followed in hot pursuit, matching each of her moves. He was like her shadow.

 

She rolled onto a different roof, not daring to look back. When he was ready, he would make his move. She ran faster, panting, but laughing.

 

Gex leaped from the building and landed on all fours. He was more beast than man mentally, now his body followed suit. Faster and faster, the madman narrowed in on his prey.

 

Sonic jumped in front of the 2. "Hi you 2. What's going on? Up to no good I suggest."

 

She leaped onto another roof, daring herself mentally to go faster, outrun him a little longer. She could never beat him, but Kira liked to push herself. She ran faster, her legs almost blurring. Her breath came faster, along with her heartbeat.

 

dodging sonic, Gex made his move. With a roar he shot into the air and landed infront of kira. Facing her, the lunatic welcomed her with open arms.

 

Kira couldn't stop, couldn't even breathe enough to say something to Sonic. She ran right into Gex's arm, gasping as she collided with him. Holding onto him to make sure she was steady, she laughed breathlessly.

 

Wrapping her in his arms, gex looked down at his prize.

"Looks like I could. Didn't know you could move that fast."

 

Kira smiled, looking up at him. "Well I had to try to beat you, after all. I've learned a few things."
