The Legend of Spyro: The return of Dark Spyro

"I know, I know..." Naira sighed out through her nose, directing her gaze to the ground. "If you don't want to fight... then the rest of us will..." She smiled slightly. "Simple as that... right?"

 

"No. I just don't like the idea of any of us fighting eachother. We're family." he said.

OOC: g2g now, going to an Easter party at my Aunt's.

 

Sparky sat down on the ground and watced joel as he flew around..."Is he really going to surprise us next time or was it a lie?" said Sparky

 

Naira thought over what Sorda just said. She thought for a moment as a silence was settling in on the two dragons. "I know it's hard..." she said quietly. "But we'll get through with it... After the battle is over, we won't get into really big fights anymore, riiiiight?" She giggled a little and then rolled over on her back, looking up at the sky. "I know I sound very optimistic, but everything will be okay." She glanced at Joel. "You just think too much that's all."

 

Methredel lay on her back in the middle of her clearing. She yawned widely, dozing off into a nightmare. She kicked in her sleep, unconciously muttering.

 

"I hope so." he said, closing his eyes. "I don't like fighting." This was true. Even though he was a rare purple dragon, stronger than most and able to use all 4 elements, he'd always been sort of a pacifist, only fighting where he couldn't think of any other way out.

 

Naira nodded her head slowly. Her eyes were scanning the clouds. She sighed out quietly, not sure what to say. "Yeah... truthfully... I don't want to fight either..." she said quietly. "I mean... lots of us might end up getting..." She trailed off, not daring to finish the last part of the sentence.

 

"I know." he said. "I don't want anyone to die. No matter what side they're on."

 

She rolled over onto her stomach, standing up slowly. She smiled a little bit. "Changing the subject but... I dunno about you, but I'm getting kind of hungry. How 'bout it?" Naira looked at Sorda. "Wanna get something to eat?"

 

"I don't know." he said. "I'm really not in the mood to eat." Just then, his stomach growled.

 

"Are you suuuuure?" She tilted her head playfully and chuckled lightly. "I bet you are hungry... come on." Naira swished her tail and then led the way to the nearest berry bush.

 

He got up and followed her, cursing his hunger.

 

A little while later, Naira was eating berries to her heart's content. She sighed out happily and glanced over at Sordia. "So! How do they taste?"

 

"They're good." he said, eating some berries from a different bush.

 

Naira smiled, glad to see Sordia taking it easy for once. Then... she got this gnawing feeling inside of her. Her smile dropped as she turned around.

Suddenly, a gush of water smacked Naira hard, sending her flying into a berry bush. The water attack was pretty strong.

Naira coughed out the water, trying to stand back up. She was slightly dazed from the sudden attack.

 

"Naira!" Sorda called, running to her. "Are you okay?"

 

Naira stood up shakily. "Yeah... just fine..." She looked up and gasped. "MOVE!!" She headbutted Sorida, moving him out of the way of a few more water bombs that seemed like they were falling from the sky.

An evil laugh could be sounded not too far away from Naira and Sorida. Darek stepped out from behind the bushes. "Foolish brother and sister... So ignorant and living a life of paradice when there's a war to be made..."

 

"Darek!" he said. "I should have known!"

 

"Oh looky, the four elements combinded in all... this is my lucky day indeed." He threw back his head and laughed.
Naira growled, stepping in front of Sorida. "Why are you here?!"

"Such a foolish question from an airheaded dragon..."

 

"Shut up brother! You're the one who's airheaded! Do you even know what dad's trying to do?" he asked.
