The Legend of Spyro: The return of Dark Spyro

He surfaced and placed her on dry land. "Come on, breathe!" he said, tears in his eyes.

 

Naira didn't breath right away. Her heart was still beating, but she couldn't breath. Her eyes were closed, trying to open, regain conciousness.

 

He started performing CPR on her.

 

Naira's eyes snapped wide open. She turned her face from Sorda, spitting up water while coughing and sputtering. After she finished coughing, she took in deep breaths, closing her eyes slowly. She shuddered from the sudden chill she felt. And she was still chained to the board.

 

He ripped the chain off and gently blew a little fire on her, not enough to burn or cause pain, but to warm her up.

 

"Thanks..." she whispered quietly. She laid on the ground, coughing a little to get the extra water out of her throat. Naira felt a whole lot better with the fire. "I always get into these kinds of messes..."

 

"It's fine." he said, helping her up. "I kinda like being your hero sometimes."

 

Naira giggled a little, standing back up slowly. When she turned to see if there was anyone else in the cave, no one was there. Then she remembered something and gasped. "Sorda, what about Sparky?!" She looked at him with a worried expression.

 

"Methalda's out looking for him." he said. "I'm sure she'll find him and they'll both be okay. Right now, we just need to rest."

 

Naira nodded her head slowly. "Can we get out of here though?" she asked quietly. "This place gives me the creeps..."

 

"Yeah." he said. "Can you walk, or do you want me to carry you?"

 

"I think I can walk..." Naira pulled herself to her feet, staggering a little when she stood up. Once she got a hold of her balance again, she started to walk forward.

 

He walked beside her, ready to catch her if needed.

 

Moments later, they were out of the cave.

Naira found a soft patch of grass and collasped on it. She sighed out quietly. "Are you sure they're going to be okay?"

 

"I'm not sure of anything anymore, but my gut tells me they are." he said, laying next to her, closer than usual. He draped his wing over her.

 

Naira closed her eyes, too tired to notice. She sighed out quietly. "Alright..." She smiled a little. "By the way... thanks for saving me... brother."

 

"Your welcome." he said, nuzzling her a little before putting his head down.

 

"Sparky is here but so am I!" said Spyro moveing to reveil a red, bloody dragon. Sparky was red from his own blood.

"Methredel..." said Sparky weakily he could barely move, "Methredel...leave...now...or...you..will...die...too..." Sparky passed out.

Spyro laughed, "would you like to join him?" said Spyro.

 

Naira smiled a little, glad for her brother's comfort. She still couldn't rest easily though. She had a really bad feeling inside of her.

 

He could feel her uneasyness and asked "What's wrong?"
