The Legend of Dragoon

He took a few steps forward and collapsed.

 

"cliff!" sophia shouted, she jumped over the stream and ran to cliff. "cliff! don't you dare die on me!" she said, she got some water and threw it over him.

 

Michael sat and remembered his childhood.

He was only about 6 or 7 when he was first picked on for being what he was.

"Monster! Go back to the forest where you belong. We don't want your kind here." They would say.

"In my younger years, during the start of the treaty between the Keldon and the humans, I never really got along with humans. Matter of fact, with me being a halfling, I never got along with the Keldon either. Neither side wanted to accept me. It feels strange now that no one cares what I am."

"Life has a strange way of bringing people together in times of need."

"I guess you are right. Well, that's enough of the past. I think it's time for a drink."

"Now you're speaking my language."

Michael laughed

 

"The wingly took her! I tried to follow them, but I was attacked. I barely got out alive."

 

Michael stopped in his tracks. He felt someone in pain in the forest, so he flew to the scene to see what had happened. There he saw Cliff lying on the ground, badly wounded, Sophia trying to tend to him.

He walked up to them.

"Hold him steady."

Michael cut his hand, just as he did the night before, drew the life rune on cliff's forehead, and began to chant. In a matter of moments, all of cliff's wounds were patched up.

 

"Thanks." he said, passing out.

 

"Must have been Jeraxan's doing."

 

"what did you do?" she asked him, suddenly a wooden sword hit her back, "good for nothing children!" she shouted and pulled out her blue sword and started running after the boy.

 

"It's hard to explain, but I learned many new thinds after the trial of enlightenment. This blood based healing spell being one of them." Michael said as he wrapped up his hand.

 

Cliff was floating over the Earth. (in his mind) A golden dragon appeared in front of him.
Cliff.
"Golden Dragon."
You know?
"I've known for a long time."

 

OOC:Sorry to take so long............I guess we live in different time zones..........because I just woke up........

*Jeraxan jumped off of his observation tower, and went back to the Dark Dragoon*
"Sorry to keep you waiting, Dragoon...........I had to make sure no was following me..................And now, back to business......"

 

Michael looked into the pond.

"Strange, I never really thought I would have wings. I always thought I would become a shapeshifter like the others.

 

Sophia twitched and stopped chasing the boy, she turned ran into the nearest lake and dived into it going deeper than before.

 

You must save the dark dragoon! Who knows what that wingly will do to her!
"You don't have to tell me twice!"

 

Sophia was diving deeper until she needed to go back up for air but Sophia realised that she couldn't reach the top in time. Sophia just floated there in the water, holding her throat. Suddenly her vision went all blurry then slowly everything went black. until death she thought.

 

Cliff woke up.

 

Sophia opened her eyes and again found herself drifting at sea and once again the sea dragon was there,

"little one you took your time" the sea dragon chimed.

Sophia nodded and asked "what is happening?"

"ah, that is a good question but that is not for me to answer."

Sophia looked down at her feet,

"little one, your not alone..." the sea dragon chimed again.

Everything faded and she found herself back in the lake, Sophia slowly made the way back to the top.

like i said little one your not alone.

Sophia shook her head.

is that you sea dragon?

yes of course i can't leave you alone any more darkness is growing stronger

Sophia slowly walked back in her soaked clothes.

 

Michael swung his right wing in front of him. Some of the loose feathers flew from the wing and were impaled in a tree.

He looked in awe.

"How did I do that?"

"If I had to guess, you inadvertently changed changed the wind velocity of those feathers. You need to maintain better control of your power, unless you want to hurt one of your friends."
