Michael yawned.

"Think I'll take a nap...."

Michael didn't hear Zephyr, as he was already fast asleep.

Michael woke up. He pulled out the gift his father had given him.

"Why did he give me this? It dosen't enev have a blade..."

"That wouldn't be Kyozuko, would it?"

"That's what my father called it."

"It's a phantom sword. The blade is invisible, stupid."

"Interesting...it's pretty light."

Kai stared at Michael's new weapon. "Beautiful.... I see the blade....."

 

"Now that you mention it..."

Michael took a good look at the sword and nearly dropped it. The blade was sixty inches long, but was light as a feather.

 

"What did you tell your father?" Kai asked.

 

"Not much. After I beat him in battle, he game me this sword. He did tell me that my mother was still alive though..."

 

"That's great......" Kai turned away from him.

 

"What's wrong?"

 

"I know I should be happy, because you know one of your parents is still alive, but I don't feel that way. Like I feel different. But I'm glad for you." Kai sighed.

 

"She dosen't have any memory of me though. Father sealed her memories before they parted ways. Besides, I don't even know what she looks like."

 

"You don't want to go looking for her, do you?"
