The Last Hope of their Future

There was an awkward moment. "Alright, I don't get you right now." she said shaking her head.

Afra was one of the hunters outside. But he stayed well away from everyone. He didn't bother to fight that day, he wasn't in the mood to. But he had his crossbow in his hand just in case.

 

jendra: it will be how i remember you after time has removed your name.

 

"Ohh.... then sure whatever suits you." she said opening the door, but once she did an arrow pierced through her all of the sudden.

Afra smirked from far away, he was the one who fired the crossbow at her. "Bulls-eye."

jendra grabbed something from clara that completly heal him

jendra: miku!

 

Miku fell to the ground slowly, clutching the arrow with her hand- she wanted to pull it out. It went straight through her, and it was painful since she was only pat-vampire and didn't posses all the strength that came with it.

Afra, grabbed another bow. "This'll finish her I bet." he whispers to himself then aims at her once again.

 

jendra ran over to miku and pulled out the arrow

jendra: you in the mood for a fight?

 

She screamed in pain, when the arrow was pulled out of her. "S-Sure... whoever that was is going down!" she said.

Afra fired the arrow again, but with Jendra interrupting he missed Miku and hit the ground instead. "tsk. And I only need her... why'd another one come?" he said to himself and got up putting his crossbow away and grabbing his sword.

 

jendra looked at the hunter

jendra: who are you?

 

"So we meet again." he said with an evil smile looking at miku who was behind Jendra.

"sorry to disappoint you but I have no idea on who the hell ya are." Miku said. "You must have mistook me for some else, hunter."

 

jendra looked at the two

jendra: oh you can't be serious.

 

"I'm pretty da** serious." Afra commented at Jendra. "C'mon Miku, this dumb brained stranger got the point, why can't you? Maybe the name Afra rings a bell?"

"...Cause I'm dumber... " she muttered. "Look, if you're thinking you can play tricks on me saying that your my dead brother or something you're wrong. I remember my brother well."

 

jendra: dumb? this coming from a guy with a toothpick shooter and a 2-1 disadvantage?

 

He turned to Jendra, with a mad expression. "You're asking for death, old man." he said.

 

jendra: if you haven't noticed, death doesn't want to embrace either of us.

 

"Apparently so, but have you noticed that only now have I come into the picture?" he retorts.

Miku just stood there, thinking. It was a lie that she remembered her brother perfectly. All she remembered was the angry eyes that looked into hers just before she was almost killed.

 

jendra: yeah, you sure aren't photogenic whoever you are. miku, wanna make the first move?

 

Miku was too occupied by her thoughts, she didn't even hear Jendra.

"No, why don't I make the first move?" Afra said and summons beasts that were made out of flames, also creating a fence of fire surrounding them so not to by interrupted by others. He smiled again, and then got into a battle stance.

 

jendra: all these powers and you still call yourself a human? i think im the most normal thing here

jendra pulled out an ice spike that was still stuck in him from earlier.

 

"Yeah, i'm pretty much human still." he said and dashed towards Jendra, swinging his sword at him a couple of times.

 

jendra dodged and went for his legs.
