Daisuke stopped on the building top where he had met Chiyon the night before and he sat on the ledge with Fae in her lap, ready to run off at any given moment if Christian had decided to attack.

 

"Well you realize that was MY lunch", he was still tense from thirst. "I can't have her now coz he's had her and she's going to be one of us or something"

 

"There goes the chances of co-existence...." she said sighing, her head hung down.

 

"Fae can you hear me?" he whispered.

"It can be bad at some points, but otherwise, I suppose it slightly keeps me safer now that I'm restrained" he said, as he stood in the shadow of the tree.

A wide grin appeared on his face when he heard the comment. "Tell me. You mentioned me not remembering you before. How exsactly would I know you?" he asked

 

jendra: i told you already. you killed my parents in drunken rage

 

"Drunken rage? You mean the incident from when I became king?" he asked

 

jendra: no, long before that. you sucked the blood of a village's drunk from where i came from. you aren't a happy drunk

 

"What nonsense are you speaking of then? I'm afraid you have me confused with someone else" he said to him
