The Last Hope of their Future

oookay so they're my characters​

 

Chiyon wearily looked up at Rik, she had definitely seen him before. She had to make sure if she wasn't going crazy or not. "Were you in the Vampire-Human war a couple of centuries ago?" she asked.

 

Rik didn't look at her when he answered but he put on a serious face and his tone was stone cold, "Yes", he replied simply not knowing how she knew this but it enhanced the feeling of knowing this woman.

 

Chiyon rubbed her eyes as she got up onto her feet. Her mind was racing, how on earth was she at that battle all that time ago? The question kept replaying over and over in her head until only one solution came up. She felt sick and disgusted by it. She remembered what Yuka had said about the ability purebloods had when they had reached an ancient age. "I think I was a pureblood..." Chiyon mumbled, her voice was full of uncertainty. "All of these images that have been flashing in front of my eyes are making that seem even more true."

 

ooc: can I have a recap of everything that I've missed? Sorry for not posten, but I got caught up in so many threads. I dun wanna neglect anymore so I'm ready to start rpen again :P

 

Rik looked at Chiyon with same facial expression as before, "So your a pureblood?", he asked sounding cold, the harsh memories of the numerous battles returned. The things he had done where not pretty nor where they fully just, but he didn't have regret, he knew even if he regretted it he wouldn't bother with redemption.

 

ooc: only thing that is happening atm is that Chiyon has found out that she was once a pureblood.

bic: As the memories solidified together, Chiyon had more confidence in her voice. "I remember now," she said in the voice a commanding officer had. "You were my subordinate in that war, and a couple of wars bofore that if my memory serves me correctly." She started breathing in and out to calm herself down and to keep a level head. Her old self had almost taken over her concious now, the images that had plagued for the last few months had come to a complete halt.

 

Rik turned away from her, he had given up his duties but was still technically her subordiante. "This seems to be true", he said looking at his armored left hand once more, he had aquired the injury below the metal shell in the war when he fought under her as one of her officers. It had all come back to Rik, although Chiyon looked a little different but he could she was the same woman from his past, just reborn.

 

"The only way I can return to my true former self is if I get bitten by another old vampire like I was. The only one who can do that at this moment is Daisuke," she sighed. Chiyon remembered when she found him fatally on the battlefield, before Rik had even existed. Even back when she had found Daisuke she was considered an ancient vampire. "Maybe I should go see Kaji and let him know that I'm not plagued by those annoying images now-" She trailed off.

 

Rik grinned and choked out a small laugh, "So your the old mans sire", he chuckled. Rik turned to look at his former commander from the corner of his eye, "Maybe we should find Kaji like you said, Daisuke is sure to show up if we find others", Rik stated straightening his grin into his normal demanner.

 

Chiyon grinned. "He's most likely in the city where he usually is," Chiyon chuckled. "It's been a while since I've seen Daisuke, not since 600 years ago. It'll be fun to see him again."

"We should get going then", Rik said walking ahead, in his head the illusion of a memory of himself escourting Chiyon across a battlefield littered with bodies. He remembered his old nature and shook off the thought as he walked.
