The Last Hope of their Future

Azusa had gone into her trance like she always did when she went into battle. Reddish coloured flames ignighted on both of her hands.

 

Rik leapt towards Azusa as he pulled his fist back and punched at her firing a massvie blast of black fire at her.

 

Azusa mimicked his movements and blasted a ball of red fire at Rik.

 

The ball cut through Rik's flames with ease. Real fire outclassed his imatation. Rik blocked the fire with his left arm and reached for his sword on his back.

 

"Oh no you don't."
Azusa dashed toward Rik, water was now surrounding her limbs.

 

Rik let go of his swords handle and moved quickly appearing behind Azusa, "Fool", he said as he grabbed her by wrapping his arms around her arms and torso before shocking her with black lightning, another of his imatation elelments.

 

ooc: do not intervene legion, just don't.

Azusa grunted in pain, she let the water spread out and splash Rik, hoping it would effect the electricity in some way.

 

Rik leapt back releasing his grip, he couldn't keep up his attack much longer. His power seemed to only allow a short amount of time with each attack. He reached for his sword much quicker this time and unsheathed it.

 

Azusa's arm twitched from the electricity, she took a step back. While stretching both her arms out water and flames enveloped both of them.

 

Rik readied his nodachi, he was ready to counter attack as he was determind to locate a weak spot on the attack.

 

With a few swift movements of her arms, Azusa whipped uf a tornado, made out of fire and water she then pushed the tornado in Rik's direction.

 

"Oh for the love of-", Rik said as he started backing away from it quickly.

 

Azusa pushed her arm through the air and the tornado followed Rik.

 

Rik stabbed his sword into the cliff and dived into the tornado, he fired black fire into the tornado until it turned black and disappeared.

 

Dammit.... Azusa thought.

 

Rik walked back over to his sword and pulled it out the cliff, "Don't tell me that was it?", Rik mocked as he ignited his sword with his fire and slashed the air creating a wave of the fire covering his blade.

 

"I don't know, ok! I just don't know" Kaji yelled, as he slammed his fist against a near by tree, causing it to fall down. "I don't have time for this bull" he said as he turned his back to her and started to storm off.

 

Chiyon stood where she was, the fell onto one knee when a sudden familiar throbbing pain returned to her head. "I guess talking to you for help wasn't a good idea... even though you're the only one that I really trust at the moment..."

Azusa laughed manically. "I'm just getting warmed up!" she exclaimed.

 

Rik sighed and readied himself, he was feeling regret but he was also thinking of calming the girl down.

 

Kaji felt regret when he heard this, not knowing just what to believe anymore. Fact was, he was confused, and this wasn't helping him at all. He stopped, but kept his back turned to her. "I'm sorry" he muttered.
