The Last Hope of their Future

"I was waiting for the right time to intervene." Chiyon snapped.

 

"The right time? Why, was there supposed to be a right time? The right time for what. THe right time for you to kill a vampire?" he snapped back again

 

"The time I would jump in and stop that girl from attacking! I'm not that stupid Kaji, I'm not going back on my promise!" Chiyon started to get a bit angry.


Azusa had been walking in the forest for a while now, she walked out of the shade of the trees into a valley. She had a feeling she was meant to meet someone here.

 

Rik walked down a familiar street still unaware of his surroundings.

 

"Ya, well I dont see why you couldnt just do what I did and help the boy before he got attacked. Besides, for all I know that boy would've been the perfect chance to start up a war. After all, I dont know what kind of tricks hunters have up their sleeves!" he yelled

 

Rik appeared in a forrest somehow, he had wandered off so much he had actually left the civilasation. He continued on through the forrest before comming up onto a valley where a girl was stood infront of him.

 

"You.. don't trust me?" Chiyon said in a hurt voice.

"Oh hi murderer, having fun?" Azusa asked in a bored voice.

 

"Do I know you, girl?", Rik asked, his memory must of been weakened in his slumber. He couldn't match a name to her face.

 

"From a while back you do, you killed my older brother."

 

"Your older brother...", Rik said, "I have slain many, what was his name?", Rik asked desperate to remember.

 

"His name was Ritsu." she replied.

 

The image of Ritsu appeared in Rik's mind, followed by the image of his death. "I remember Ritsu, I am indeed the one who ended his life", Rik said being neither happen nor sad.

 

"Why did you kill him?" Azusa asked quietly. "H never did anything wrong!" she yelled.

 

"I cannot say", Rik said looking away, "I swore on an oath".

 

"He was my f*cking brother! I have a right to know!" anger was started to swell inside of her.

 

"I stand by my oath", Rik said looking back at her, he could feel her anger. It was overwhelming.

 

Azusa's anger was getting so strong, fire was starting to burst out of her arms and back.

 

"Allow me to let you vent your anger, beat me and i'll tell you why I killed your brother", Rik stated readying himself for an onslaught.

 

A manic smile spread across Azusa's face and she stared up at Rik. "You better keep to that promise!"
She disappeared into thin air and reappeared behind Rik, she grabbed hold of his neck and threw him into the cliff face behind themselves.

 

Rik waited in the crater he madde after being flung into the cliff, "I may have to get serious", Rik said climbing out of the cliff and igniting his right hand with black flames. He then waited for his opponents next move.
