The Keyblade War-Breath of the Future

"Well you've got power down." Mixt commented. "Let's see how you do in unsuspected fighting conditions" As Mixt said this the area slowly got darker and darker until eventually there was no light left to be seen. "How do you plan to fight what you can not see?" After Mixt said this he flashstepped to a new location and stood there, listening.

 

Around Atem a white glow started appearing. The strange energy that had appeared was about to take a physical form in fron of Atem. Phantoma watched from within the darkness, due to the darkness increasing black angelic wings where appearing on his back, but they couldn't be seen in the darkness.

 

Phisoxa heartlight kept her portion of the area lit but she could not move, she darkness was preventing her from going deeper and deeper, it was almost like a riptide pulling her back, the light was, but she kept her balance.
Phisoxa:" Be careful son. . .'
She said as the seemingly invisible keyblade in Atem's palm was now illuminated with light, well at least it's outline was. He seemed to be afraid by the immense darkness that surrounded him, it seemed never ending and it suffocated the light in the air around him. He felt overwhelmingly cold as if he was hit by a chill and his teeth grit due to the temperature.
Phisoxa:" Atem use your heartlight to guide you. Act as if the darkness is not there and that you are better then it, then your light shall help you through it's depths."
She said since it was the only advice she could give him.
Atem:" Heartlight? There's a light in my heart that can help. . ."
He said as he closed his eyes and the figure made of light began to grow stronger and stronger.

 

OOC: I forgot the part about random craters appearing just before it went dark but it is fairly irrealavent.

IC: Mixt almost yelled out in joy. This could not be going any better. Mixt's powers prevented even him from seeing, but he could sense the energy all the same. He wasn't sure exactly how much he needed but it couldn't take much more.

 

zero look at all that darkness he saw nothing good come of the much darkness heartless are stating to appeared "phisoxa get behind me now this is getting bad and you don't look like you are enjoy that much darkness do you."

 

In the darkness the outline of someone started appearing infront of Atem, it gave of warm feeling to Atem. Phantoma walked threw the darkness, but something in him had awakened and was full of rage.

 

Phisoxa:" My light is keeping it out, as best as it can, but I fear for Atem, hes only so young, hes never been exposed to this before."
She said putting her hands in front of her heart as the light shone from behind her fingers.
Atem:" Why is it so warm, It feels happy."
He said closing his eyes as if he was enjoying the sunlight's rays.

 

"Hey kid, what are you doing just standing there?" a voice said to Atem, it was distorted but it was coming from the light.

 

Mixt continued to stand, sensing, listening. Atem was gaining power, enough so that it seemed to be taking it's own form. It was hard to tell what was happening especially without sight but it seemed that way at least. Surely with the amount of power it takes to do that they could surely force open the door to the other side. Mixt started to charge up his energy. In his keyblades for power, in his arms to hold such power, in his legs to hold is ground. Soon Mixt's entire body was coursing with energy waiting for Atem to find him and bring the defining clash.

 

Atem opened his eyes and they seemed to be glowing with light, suddenly he sprung forward without controlling his own body and brought his blades down on Mixt one last time with such a menacing force.

 

The ground underneath Atem and Mixt started to break apart from their energies.

 

Suddenly a bright light radiated from Mixt. He hadn't upset the balance by sending out darkness, but rather by absorbing light. As the two clashed in a dual wielding blade lock the energy condensed as if forming it's own kind of gravity. The condensed energy took a form that could most easily be described as rainbow colored smoke. "THIS IS IT!" Mixt cried out as the energy enveloped them both.

 

Phantoma stood outside the energy from Mixt and Atem. "So it begins, the awakening and I'm left out here? Thats not fair!" Phantoma yelled at them.

 

Mixt laughed. It was hard to tell if it was him going mad with power or mocking Phantoma, all the same it was cold and dark.

 

"Awaken Guardian of Time and Order!" Phantoma yelled, or more commanded towards Atem as white Angelic wings started appearing on Atems back and something within Atem awoke.

 

Atem:" I feel strange, there's a strange sensation in the air, in my body everywhere. Is this what it feels like to have terrible power?"
said Atem as he still kept his blades in a clash position with Mixt, but he wasn't holding them there, just the sure force.
Phisoxa:" Hey what's happening to him?! Atem !!! Hold on !!!"
She said as she stood there shielding her eyes with her arm since the surge of power was so bright.

 

The energy vortex started to collapse in on itself and soon disappeared into nothingness. Atem and Mixt were nowhere to be seen.

Slowly Mixt started to drift away from Atem, but it wasn't that the energy had faded, but rather that such energy was everywhere forming a sort of tunnel. It was strange, such energy should be able to destroy someone in a moment but it felt euphoric instead. Mixt laughed. "Well we did it. Welcome to the other side"

 

Now that the force that had been holding back Phisoxa from going deeper into the dark was gone, Phisoxa ran forward to the area where she had last seen Atem, but both father and son had disappeared. She sunk to her knees and looked about with hysteria in her eyes.
Phisoxa:" Where? Where did they go?"
Meanwhile . . .
Atem was floating in a strange place, but what was this place?Atem had never seen anything like it before. However Atem felt a bit tired after excerting so much energy.
Atem:" Why are we here?"

 

"Because that much energy conflicting was bound to tear at the fabric of reality." Mixt answered simply. "It is because of you that we were able to come here. I must say I'm impressed. You're gonna go far kid" As Mixt said this the two drifted even farther apart until they lost sight of eachother. Because of the energy he used up, Mixt drifted off to sleep.

 

Atem:" No wait, father come back !!! Father !!!"
He shouted but was unable to go after him and again they were separated. Atem drifted within his own little area of the void, lost and confused. He did not know how he would get out of here nor did he know where his father had gone. He curled up in a fetal position and just floated in midair, his mind lost in thought.
